I first was introduced to you when I had access to LinkedIn’s learning platform. I really enjoyed your teaching style! I wanted to know if you have, I didn’t see it if you do, the tutorial for setting up your work space on illustrator? I really enjoyed that when I watched it on LinkedIn and since I no longer have access to it I don’t remember all the steps to set it up and I’m no longer using the version of illustrator I set it up on or that computer. Would really love a refresher. Thank you for all your doing to make fashion design accessible to the masses.
Love your videos I'm really interesting on your classes I need to learn graphic design and photoshop, and illustrator classes I know the basic in illustrator but I'm looking g for job and need to be faster I'm old manual designer with more than 20years experience now is difficult for me to find job I need your help with your classes. 🙏
This video was so helpful. I was making this WAY harder than it needed to be! I would love to see a video on scallop pattern and also border prints like on a tea towel or the border of a dress, etc. Thanks again. I can’t wait to try this out.
@Robin Schneider. You are great, the examples you have made in textile designs are wonderful. Thank you very much for your sharing. Please continue to share.🤲
so helpful, thanks! quick question- is there a reason why you decided to add bias + stitching at the end instead of at the same time you copied/pasted the front to the back?
Just wanted to so, thank you sooooo much for this. It taught me a lot more than just making a flat t-shirt template, but some of the features within Illustrator, as well. Cheers!
the design is called tartan. the fabric is plaid. there's a difference. thread count is completely ignored here. it doesn't follow any of the rules of tartan pattern.
I never said it was a tartan, just a plaid pattern with a twill weave. I only know how to include thread count when working in specialized textile design software, not AI. But I would love to learn more about tartan rules.
hi, I am having issues with applying the stained glass texture. when I select it, it’s showing up blurry and not clear. i’m sure this is an easy fix in settings somewhere but wanted guidance on that thank you!
Brilliant!!! Thank you so much! 🤩Subscribed, thumbed up and saved for future reference. I didn't find your presentation cumbersome at all. I also love to teach and found you to be quite concise. The comment about snap to pixel was also helpful. Best! 💐
When I click D to restore the white fill and black stroke for the ribbed waistband, the result is the waistband with the curved line I originally placed so I could select the rib from graphic styles. Any advice on how I could fix this?
In the color dynamics she did a hue, saturation and brightness jitter. The hue jitter was kept relatively low so that you would get just tints and shades of the main color. And she chose apply per tip so that each brush stroke will be different and thats what creates the effect. Hope that helps.
