I 100% agree! I am NOT a summer girl *at all!* As a matter of fact, I wear my black jeans or sweats and my cozy black hoodie almost everytime I leave my house. Everyone else is in their t-shirts and shorts, looking at me like I've lost my mind. 😂🤣😂 I can't *wait* for fall!!! 😊😊
Idgaf about what is considered socially acceptable; I regularily wear literal floor length cloaks as my outerwear of choice. But I'm with you on the wearing sweaters and wanting fall to come faster!!!! I just... I deal so much better with cold than I do with heat, so like. I can't wear my beloved sweaters now; I'll be miserable and sweaty and give myself migraines! Pls. Fall, just...just come along. Soon. Please.
As someone who lives in Phoenix Arizona, I look forward to winter cause it’s the only season we get that actually feels different from the others 😅 I’m dying in this 115 degree heat
June 26, 1990, Phoenix. We hit 122 degrees. I remember people selling tee shirts that said I survived 40+ days of triple-digit weather. I had only been in AZ since November 1986. That summer I officially hated Phoenix.😝
Alexandria, Easy Pumpkin Spice Brownies: -One 15oz can of pureed pumpkin -One box chocolate cake mix (whichever is your favorite) -1.5tsp Pumpkin pie spice mix # Mix all three ingredients together, bake at the temperature listed on the cake mix box, bake until a toothpick stuck straight down into the highest part of the cake and pressed all the way to the bottom, comes out clean. I’m with you…..summer and hot weather actually puts me in a bad mood lol. I’m in NYC and it goes from chilly in may to 80 degrees with 100% humidity until October. I hate it.
Same here! I get reverse seasonal affective disorder! I am so much happier in the colder seasons. Here in Kentucky the humidity is insane as well and it makes it so much worse!
Your distaste for summer is such a mood. Personally i have explained myself as a vampire who dies just a bit more every time summer comes around because its too much heat and bright sunlight.
I needed to replace my glassware (almost all had been broken), but my cabinet space is really limited. I bought 24 stemless, 19-oz wine glasses from Macy’s during a sale. A nice, large wine glass can hold anything from water to soda to wine and will look great for any occasion. I almost always drink out of a wine glass, and it was the best decision ever!😂💜

I live in Australia and I HATE summer. I live in fear of summer. I start getting seasonal anxiety in Spring as soon as the temperature starts heating up. Because it’s HOT here, and DRY. The UV feels like a physical weight on your body if you go out. People used to hot weather come here and are like wow, it’s hot. And summer lasts forever. It’s like six months of the year are summer and the rest of the seasons are crammed into the other half. It’s one of the few things I truly, truly hate about living here.
Summer is a godsend for me. I have seasonal affective disorder and chronic pain. Winter is dangerous for my mental and physical health. I live in Las Vegas, so we don’t get a long winter…but we get more than enough for me.
I cannot wait for autumn and winter and HALLOWEEN....I got excited when I found a coffee shop that still does pumpkin spice syrup as standard and I'm burning wax melts called witches brew sooooo xxx

I moved from the city into a suburb. I am going to be on my porch in a sweater with a mug of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening watching the trees turn. I also have a house to decorate for fall and for Halloween for the very first time in my adult life. I'm not rushing summer to be over (I haven't made it out swimming yet, I need to go at least once!) but I am so ready for fall.
That the glasses are heavier than they look is a good sign. It means that they are a denser more durable type of glass than the cheapo ones most places sell.

Woo - Hoo, the Fall box. I wear a t-shirt, hoodie, sweatpants and flip flops in the winter to bring in firewood. I live in t-shirts, flip flops and house shoes year round. I really liked the candle & wine glasses. TFS❤

I can't wait to be basic this fall either! Basic is Best sometimes lol. I almost never go to Starbucks the rest of the year, but when I DO, my go-to winter drink is a white mocha latte, and in summer my go-to drink is an iced matcha almond milk latte with vanilla. Both of these are standard assortment. The ONLY seasonal release I look forward to - from EVERY coffee shop, not just Starbucks, is the fall releases. When I walk past my local Starbucks and see the sign outside tellin' me that it's Pumpkin Spice Latte season now, I will smile so wide I'm probably beaming from here and to the FALL sun. I also love the fall sun so much more than the summer sun. I know they're technically the same exact sun, but like. The sun is just BETTER in the fall, okay???? Earth tones, knitwear, burgundy lipsticks and nails, brown leather booties, seein' my breath in front of my mouth in the morning, cromching leaves, rain, umbrellas, red orange yellow trees, and my goshdarn pumpkin spice latte is THE BEST GOSHDARN THING ABOUT THE WHOLE YEAR! It is GOOD to be basic.

You summed up my feelings about this hot weather perfectly! I went out shopping for fall and Halloween decor yesterday blazing heat and all and wore a hoodie in my defense I did have shorts on 😂 I'm hopeful that this weather will be over soon and I can proceed to wear my hoodies and sweat pants without looking crazy 😅😂

People that don't live in the South will never understand our disdain for summer and love for fall. It's the few months of the year you can walk outside and your makeup doesn't immediately melt.
That scrub will tear you up! Everything I have tried from that brand through FFF has been too rough and I use exfoliants regularly. Thank you, this is the first box in 4+ years that I will not get since I quit and I have no FOMO at all. I have those socks and unless they improved them they will stretch out of shape while you wear them and fall down and they don't fully regain their shape once washed. I only wore them twice and hate them and I was super excited to get them too! The rest is ok, but nothing I need nor want. You have totally made my day! Thanks!
Just a thought and kind of a theory, people born in summer seem to enjoy it more, it also seems relevant to the dogs I have had. Spring and summer I love, just had my birthday last Friday, detest Fall and winter. I don't care for 100+ heat, but anything up to 98 I am ok with. I am freezing at 60.
I agree! When I complain about cold to strangers (ya know, just small talk hell?) and they ask if I was born in spring, it makes sense because I'm a late May baby and I have hated being cold since birth.
