Brienne getting knighted is probably the highlight of the season for me personally, I’m only saying this because I know you guys have finished the series. With everything being said, season 8 being as bad as it is has its good moments. The actors are doing quality work, the production team is amazing. If only the writing was up to par 😤 I will say I enjoyed season 7 and 8 on first watch as most people do

All I knew about it was it was the best fantasy fairy tale ever made on the TV machine and all the whining about the end seemed to me to be people complaining about a show that always never did what they wanted not doing what they wanted...

I enjoyed Season 8. Short scripts, but fire scenes 😁🔥

A lot of hate for this season has to do with when it aired. I personally thinks it's an ok season, but honestly the build up to it was what made a lot of people feel it fell short as a final season. So when it came out, it was kind of underwhelming, because everything that happened in this season felt overly rushed. It was kinda like.. "here, just take the show already. It's not done but you're getting exactly what you asked for"... then it airs and... [time jumps and media predictions have entered the room]. Hopefully that helps put you in the shoes of the original viewers.

A small minority attack season 8 because it didn’t give them exactly what they wanted. I’m not sure they’ve been watching the same programme as me - it’s popular because it twists and turns and surprises us. I loved the series. It wasn’t what I expected, but it gripped me and was poignant and entertaining. Good stuff!.

Definitely enjoyed the entire series my first go around. But as I sat & reflected a week or 2 afterwards that’s when all my questions on the writing came into place 😂

Some recaps are total bs. For example, no one watches the part where jeimie pushes Bran and go "oh thats right, i forgot about that".

Season 7 was good and Season 8 wasn't that bad..just that the series should've lasted longer. I only disliked the final 2 episides. People just got on the online hate wave but most Reactors thought it wasn't that bad in reality.

It's like this. If you listen to the haters about season 8, it's like telling you both that there is something wrong with you guys when you are breathing into the mic. You both have a heavy wheezing sound before you talk. What essentially is going to happen is that you're going to be conscious of your breathing every time you wanna say something into your mic. This is the effect the haters are trying to achieve with new GOT reactors. They want you to nitpick every scene without enjoying the episode. Why? Because they hated the ending of the show, the last few episodes. I suggest after watching the entirety of the show, venture to watch some of the original GOT reactors. I say original, by referring to the ones that reacted to each episode as they first aired. Where they had no one whispering in their ear, on how bad season 8 was, because no one else saw the end of the show just yet, to have built in bias. EVERY original reactor LOVED each & every episode till at least episode 3 of season 8. The few reactors that didn't like the end of the show, were a small minority.

Hope you guys enjoyed this episode, it’s the last decent episode of the show. Now it’s downhill from here.
