Hi Ellis, love the car analogy to ur channel's output we see❤ U love it, don't u❤ Realise, Angie has no boundaries, such an exciting phase for her. I know that u appreciate the foundation she has prepared for a decade for this moment . I'm 65 and appreciate the Dre & Eminem references, couldn't be happier. This has to chart for her, hope everyone streams❤
All her EPs are 90s based. She has a lot great artists from the 90s/2000s working with her on this Album. She's doing just what she always said she would.
@@robertwhite6248 I'm talking about the structure. Everything is built on fragments of Different eras. Have you looked at her team? They're like a think tank of different periods. All My Fault is clearly 90s R&B.. which is built on 70's R&B ".You really don't listen to what Ellis is saying. Angelina is introducing the past to gen z. We, old farts are only looking at the parts of Angelina's performances that feel out our old ears. We know she is all incompacing. These hooks make it appealing to a younger base. Reading other comments, people are hearing referencing from all over time. AJ is not stuck.
I had mentioned in one of my comments that I thought the beats were funky but until you I have not seen anybody else comment that. The abrupt transition to me is something that is coming out of the K pop genre of mega bands like BTS which cross genre seamlessly too. It's very exciting to me.
I loved my camry, it caught on fire 2 years ago after being slammed into while parked. Damn , sounds like a lemon. I hate dealerships too. haha no way man. I would pass on that big time. Car shopping sucks. Hope you find something good. It is not easy !! Screw financing. I'm with you on that. I bought a relatives used toyota, last year. It's got a few body work issues but runs like a champ🎉
Haha. I get it now. Didn't take long either. I was kinda thinking that you would love this one, for the reasons you mentioned. I could never break it down like you do, but I DO hear that what you're talking about is there. I dunno what that makes me. To put is short, I really loved this reaction. Your insight is very valuable to me. You wrap it up in something a little weird, which I also like a lot. It just makes you different. And different is good. At least most of the time. In your case it is👍 Btw, I'm happy to hear that you have a girlfriend. I have been wondering about that, as you seem a bit lonely at times. Sure, you can be lonely in a relationship, but still. I take it you were not talking about your cat, right ? 🤣 And feeling lonely in a relationship doesn't necessarily have anything to do with your partner either. If you are a deep thinker, or have the ability to look at things through a somewhat different lens than most, that can also make you feel lonely. I can relate. But I digress. And I blame it on you. Diamond is my favorite track on the EP (it overtook Good In Goodbyes yesterday), for mostly the same reasons as you mentioned. I'll leave it at that. Love from Norway ♥♥
It is what it is....Ellis is going to butcher every Angelina song into chopped suey....only he does this .....had to stop watching.... like his take on music but this is ridiculous now...moving on.
Buying cars is somewhere in the range of root canal treatment: saying it's better than buying a car is setting the bar low :-) When it car was totaled, we changed to a car sharing thing: I pay per hour and per km but don't have to worry about the car breaking down, insurance etc very convenient! At any rate this song is indeed wonderful. I really enjoy your detailed breakdown of the song. Learning a bunch of it! The little rap part I enjoyed and you just brushed past it :-) I keep streaming the EP a lot and enjoying the heck out of it! Remixes and collabs in general would be something I'd find interesting for Angelina.
Great change of pace for Angelina. I love this song but don't have the technical mojo to really understand what you were saying, other than you approved the resulting production. So I'll just live with my ignorance and continue to enjoy Angelina's glorious gift, made all the mores special by Angelina loving her gift as much as we do. As for used cars, all dealers don't suck. You should research the dealer more than the cars and, possibly, consider non-commissioned sales dealerships--such things do exist.
I was thinking of staccato in parts, and then she did a little rap, which was really cool. There are two things that I want to bring up first on this song. I don’t know what it is, but it reminds me the background music some of it from the Beatles, magical mystery tour. A Different song. Not sure if you’ve already reacted to it it’s called “it’s my fault.” Part of it made me feel it was a song I’ve heard before or maybe it’s the style the background singers but something about it sounds like a song an R&B song. So I would like to know what you think of that song. thanks for the great reactions and breakdowns.💕🤟
OK, from buying a used car to Angelina singing «Diamond», how on earth are you going to tie this together?! 😂 (Edit: Extremely loosely. But if you did finance a car that was not a piece of shit, you could invest in diamonds that might appreciate at a higher rate than the interest, and maybe rock with a more expensive outfit. Ever thought of that?)
Dealerships around here sell used cars, typically cars that have been rented for 3-4 years. They used to be at a very attractive price, plus you got warranties and discount on service. You had protections an possibilities for exchanges. I bought two cars like that. Then the pandemic changed the market completely. Equivalent cars, with the same relative age, now sell at 4-5k more than what I paid. It is ridiculous.
I love love love this song, you really won me over with this reaction, I am pretty new to your reactions. This was great. I feel your pain about buying a used car, I'v been there, I hope you find something soon.
So Queen didn't transition in the full BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY.... not sure what your talking about there ,, I personally love how she pernounces things and fades others away like "MO instead of "more" and many others I absolutely love "DIAMOND" then Fire and Rain, and Good in Goodbye,, still I'm hooked one much of her young stuff also.
Hi Ellis 👋. Really liked this fun and awesome reaction and great comments and info you gave. Yup, I really hope Angelina brings in a great change in the stagnant music industry, that people go for 🙏. (Sorry you have to go through the car buying headache) God bless you Ellis and your family 🙏 ✝️❤ 🙂👍
Good (new) car dealers are not a myth, but only lucky to find one. I have only sold a used car, not bought one. But, I have one for sale, but you probably couldn’t afford it.
There are reactors -- for example, Elizabeth on The Charismatic Voice -- who have exceptional audio, more than a million followers, and who have been around for years. I get your reasons for degrading the sound and chopping up the audio, and perhaps the majority of reactors who choose to use the best high def sound ultimately go down, but certainly not all of them. The algorithm is more complicated than that . . . .
Hello, Ellis. Great reaction, Angelina is amazing. Just to warn you, the sound from Angelina's video is coming to us through your microphone, and not as it should, that is, directly from the source (usually there is a button with "Share sound", or something like, which activates this function). The way it is, the quality of the music is pretty bad for us. (Of course we can listen to the original video, but then we wouldn't get your great reaction).
May I ask which car you used when driving 500 miles to see Oppenheimer? And why drive 500 miles, is there not a cinema closer to you?😊 And, always interesting listen to your analysis 😊
@EllisLamarMusic I don't know if you've changed your sound system, but it's awful. The last two reactions on Angelina's songs "Now I'm the Fool" and this one "Diamond", the sound is washed out. All the richness of her voice and the musical arrangements are diluted. I used to like your reactions to songs, but here you cut too much. Is this a question of copyright? You've even left out the part where she... rap. It's the song that should come first, with the commentary that complements it. Not the other way around.
Dear , I feel your pain in car purchase experience, we all have at some point....Anyway...regarding your reaction on Angelina's song , you got that right. Also, please remember , next time you going car shopping...say an intention and you'll get good car for a reasonable price. Intention goes like that...." I have an intention to get a good, reliable car for a good price". Do intentions as often as you like for all kinds of reasons/ wishes. Works very well for me.
