What is so funny about this video is Toby Keith was laughing and said the kid who play young Toby could not dance at all so they really had to work with him.
One story I've heard about this song is that Toby Keith record company MCA ( I think) didn't want Toby to record this song, so he left and went to DreamWorks and record this song as a shot at his old record company,
At the end of this song, the very end…it happens twice… There’s an instrumental part which is a play/joke on a childish song that kids sing to make fun of each other. I don’t know if it’s a British thing, but it is incredibly well known in America. It plays the first time at exactly 4:22, and we would sing: “Na na na na NA na…na na na na NA!” Do you guys have that over there? Even many Americans don’t catch this part of the song.
@@Ivory35 Isn’t that interesting? Thank you for replying. I noticed this the very first time I heard it, when the song first came out, and it’s since been my life mission to tell people about it! An incredibly creative touch.
Always up for Toby, he can make you laugh, cry, think, or just have fun! That's what makes him one of the best, it's going to be fun watching this channel grow, boy is it taking off! That magic thousand, congrats
Feb 5 was a very sad day in our country. We not only lost one of if not the best country music singer of the last 30+ years but we lost a steadfast patriot. Ir has been 10 days since his passing and I am still fighting back tears, often unsuccessfully, every time I listen to his music.
Two of the funniest singers are Toby Keith and Brad Paisley. They both have recorded many songs with a humorous take to them. You should always react to the music videos versions, though. One reactor I saw did, 'It's a Little Too Late,' by Toby, but it wasn't the same because the song was only funny if you watched the music video, which the reactor didn't and so he didn't see the humor.
