Everything about this track is superb, guitars, sax, drums, keyboards and vocals, exquisite band really need to hear more from the Crisis What Crisis album.

One of my fave Supertramp songs. This is a complete masterpiece. The other is Hide In Your Shell.

Great song, great album!

This song Live is a crowd favorite as you can imagine. Right from the start of that Organ and drum, bass and piano beat it just rocks the place. Rick's vocals are so superbly eloquent as is John's Sax solos. Roger blows the house down with a wicked guitar solo....Thanks for adding this Masterpiece to your Playlist.

Your Boz Scaggs Playlist is like a Best Of Boz... but it is missing one of his most loved songs..... "We're All Alone".... and "Harbor Lights" both are exceptional in every way a song can be and crowd favorites.

You like Horns? Try Huey Lewis and the News! " Hip to be Square" is great intro to them.

Fool's overture and A soapbox opera are both Great songs

The prerequisite for timeless music is great percussion.

Love your reaction as usual..... :) I find these guys are similar to Steel Dan ,in that everyone knows their hits but if you go back and dig through their albums you will find one or two GEMS on each album other than the hits. Cat Stevens was like that too (as I'm sure many other super artists were)

It's a "love" song, kinda. It's from the point of view a nasty prick who wants his girl to think that he's the only one for her, even though he's bad news, swinging back and forth between kind and cruel. (Abused women tend to go for abusive men.) Rick Davies had a knack for writing portrayals of dysfunctional men. "Goodbye Stranger" is another one. And it's also a great song! LOL

Hide in your Shell is a much better choice..
