@@mimikoaj_6573 iirc the necronomicron actually had very little to do with necromancy. Rather it was a grimoire that dealt far more with the Old Ones

@@dodang_9147 You don't necessarily have to sit at range. You can do whatever you want. It's just the duo combined with the new glamour gain automatically makes everything weak regardless of range. There was actually several times where I would enter a room and half the enemies would take a bunch of damage instantly from all the curses before I did anything. Charybdis was a prime example. All the curses instantly applied to all the tentacles and actually knocked him into his first ranged shot phase the second I walked in the room lol

@@zumwansi6734 wow that is super good than. i have to try this. so far i am playing around hephatus legendary that improves all noctural arms and seeing if there any noctural arm that greatly benefits from said effect.

@@zumwansi6734 When did you do this run? I tried that combo the day this patch came out and curses did not reapply. If you did it more recently then the devs may have fixed my bug report.

@@zumwansi6734 wow this took forever to test. I had to do like 6 runs to get this duo combo. my conclusion is that this duo boon nerf the legendary instead of buffing it for glamour gain because you can't make weakness curse fall off meaning that once you enter the room, you apply no new curses. as curse never falls off. this essential confirmed my theory for how to use this boon optimally. the boon is best used by standing at a range and weaving in and out of glamour gain radius to continuously apply curses. the issue is that most weapons are A) melee and B) have poor mobility. The other issue is that the weaving in and out has a problem with attack boon where your suppose to deal damage at close range to trigger attack boon but the legendary implies that you play at middle radius. The legendary makes you take longer to Origination because it implies that you just everything as "weak". Passion dash, the Cast and Glamour gain but once you acquire legendary, you end up gaining a better orgination since you apply all curses instead of a select few. This makes boon EXTREMELY expensive to use. Is it good when you get it. The answer is yes but the volatility of acquiring the boon makes for very inconsistent strategy. After playing the axe for 6 tries, the only weapon i'd suggest using this boon on is Skull because you can spam omega attack at a range while going in//out of glamour radius and then use special omega to dash in to pick-up skulls. The other weapons just don't really use the boon too well.

Lol yes, when he said "easy origination", like it only took about.... six boons and basically all rerolls? Whereas normally you could achieve origination with only two boons minimum.

@@sleeplesstime what he meant to say is stronger origination. you see if you pick origination, you usually only get like 2 status effects. e.g scorch and hitch or whatever. with boon, you can get all curses in theory. the issue is that Weak lasts awhile and you need weaken debuff to wear off to keep applying. As a result, it is not worth much even if it is stronger origination triggers.

Just go with what you like imo, Charon is a big favorite for a lot of people.

Glamour gain curse never fall off if you run Island getaway;. this makes it impossible to apply new curses with boon because it just applies curses one time and than you can't apply anything else for rest of any encounter. it is anti-synergy.

That would be amazing considering we got Arthur in the first game.

Oof, I definitely got it a couple of times but I never even noticed it in action so I'm afraid that I don't think I could find it either lol.

@@Haelian No wonder it got removed.😅 I do wish there was something more to that Lone Shades mechanic, though. Right now if feels like it doesn't add too much to the game.

Id say theres a chance of the legendary aspect of the staff being aspect of morgana/morgan le fay, just because the sword had aspect of arthur and they are the starting weapons in their respective games.

The icons of the hidden aspects are already in the game files, but not the names. The staff has an Egyptian ankh, so probably Isis. The others aren’t as clear, but the skull doesn’t look anything like Dracula.

Aspect of Merlin for the staff. Aspect of Osiris for the daggers. Aspect of Wukong for the Axe. That's all I got.

To be fair she's probably only that tanks right now because she's the final boss of the surface at this point. They'll probably reduce her health a smidgen when there's one ot two more bosses after her

@@lemonfry26 i like how her health is. the big issue with Eris is her speed. her attack when you put 2 vows of speed at 40% are ULTRA fast. like some of her attacks are borderline unreactable with vow of speed. That means that when they do add zones and if new player have to do fear 32 for those statues, Surface will be insane to get fear 32 because Eris will just delete players off the map with how fast her attacks are. Don't believe me? just put 40% speed modifiers. it is incredible challenging to beat her with that thing on. Way harder then Chronos because Chronos, his attack are WAY slower.
