Hayden's voice has gotten a little deeper over the years. He doesn't sound much like how he used to be back in the early to mid 2000's. And yet even in his forties, he *still* would sound like a GREAT Shadow the Hedgehog. *If* the rumors are true, then he will damn well study his role. After all, he's no stranger to playing brooding characters struggling with their inner darkness.

Some Anakin lines from Ahsoka to help fill it out even more: “You look… the same” “You look old” Shadow and the GUN commander facing off “You lack conviction” Shadow to Sonic fighting on the ark “But you’re more than that, because I’m more than that” Shadow helping Omega realize vengeance shouldn’t define them (character development and probably used in a Sonic 4) “I gave you a choice… live… or die” Shadow preparing to fight off the Sonic team on the ark “There’s always a price to be paid” Shadow accepting he has to sacrifice himself to stop the biolizard

0:32-0:43 That'd be a hell of a twist! Black Doom keeps Maria alive, maybe via suspended animation, but also as a bargaining chip for Shadow to obey him.

When he does this Voice in 0:21 with the Line "I Have become more Powerfull than any Jedi has Ever Dreamed of and I'm doing it for you to protect you", It Actually Really Fits For Shadow's Voice. ❤

His voice works so well for Shadow...

It isn't fully representative of how Hayden would sound as Shadow, because his voice is slightly deeper and rougher now compared to when he played Anakin. So actually he would likely sound even better as Shadow nowadays due to that.

Well, as of right now, it's been reported that Keanu Reeves will be voicing Shadow The Hedgehog for Sonic The Hedgehog 3 Movie, according to John Campea on his live stream video he made.

Hayden Christensen is a good intense actor as Shadow.

Okay, I might be the outlier here, but I don’t know if Hayden’s voice quite fits Shadow. HOWEVER, the voice lines do! Especially the ones talking about how he’s becoming more powerful to protect Maria, and that he can’t live without her. And THIS 1:02 he sounds so vulnerable here, like he’s only just realized what he’s done. Cross-referencing Shadow’s story with Anakin’s fits in some terrifying ways, and I love it!

That “YOU WILL NOT TAKE HER FROM ME!!” and “You underestimate my POWER!!” definitely sold me the idea of Hayden playing as shadow

Dude these scenes fit perfect with Shadow. You illustrated every scene so good. Both of them are so much similiar than i expected. The best thing is at the end where Sonic thinks he can beat Shadow and just realizes he is doomed.

For me, Hayden sounds great enough to be Shadow, this parts fit perfectly for Shadow this sounds like a conversation that Shadow and Mari would accurately have 0:04 , 0:28 and if you just in your head imagine him say Maria instead of Padme it perfectly fits 0:32, and 1:19

Okay, I didn't understand the hype AT ALL for this guy- I watched someone put his voice over different clips of Shadow, BUT THIS. *THIS.* Seeing it animated like this?? It just felt TOO perfect. I still think Keanu Reeves would be a better voice for a more 3D looking Shadow, but seriously, this guy is growing on me thanks to you!! XD
