The final cutscene with Lord Shimura made me cry so hard. I can see it from his perspective and its terrible, imagine raising someone as your own son, putting hundreds or maybe thousands of hours into teaching him how to be a warrior, they were basically father and son, a bond seemingly unbreakable but Jin did what “The Ghost” would do and then hearing your own son say they are not your son. I killed uncle, let Jin salvage what little honor he had left. But now I wanna get to my main point: would you do it? do you have the courage to stand against everything you believed in, would you sacrifice your home? sacrifice your loved ones for your people. most people wouldnt dare go against what they were raised by but Jin was forced to do it. This was by far the hardest choice I’ve had to do in all my time gaming. Sucker Punch…amazing job.
I’d recommend doing the Side missions of your allies on Tsushima, Yuna, Norio, Sensei Ishikawa, Kenji and Masako. These missions are borderline main story missions, I’d recommend doing them at some point. The DLC also has its own side missions and stuff to do, I’d recommend doing Memories of your Father, and other challenges on that island, it’s smaller than Tsushima.
If you continue with Iki Island, I suggest using the guiding wind to find memories of your father before working on the main quest. I'd also recommend armor loadouts in options so you can mix and match charms to the abilities of your armor. Since the game doesn't seem to care if you swap armor mid fight, you can flip armor to suit the task at hand in and out of a fight. For example challenge with sakai armor so you can kill 5 targets in duels, then after you kill the last target in a duel, switch to clan armor for higher damage reduction. I think if you look into charms more deeply you'll enjoy the combinations you can create. As an example, synergizing charm to armor, the charm of sugaru's sight allows you to shoot 3 arrows as head shots with prolonged targetting. The charm of izanagi returns arrows that headshot 40% of the time. Add a charm of fortune and that becomes 50% more likely. Since todoroki's armor restores the concentration meter with a headshot you can pretty much slow motion every shot to be able to target headshots repeatedly.
How do you get these out so quickly!!! I love GoT and it’s dlc and it’s amazing seeing someone experience this game for the first time. Keep up the hard work!!

This was an incredible journey, watching you go through the story of what seems to be the first Ghost. There is much to be desired in the upcoming sequel and the film in making. I recommend that once you finished the DLC, that you play the Legends mode as there is still much to touch up upon Tsushima, its new threat, and its story in a supernatural setting with the concepts of the many Ghosts. Also, in regards to in-game quality of life, I recommend that you head to your settings and find and turn on the loadouts feature where you can keep saved data of hats, masks, and charms to create some genuinely great builds without constantly changing them manually.

This game was easily one of my favourites. I'm really hyped for Ghost of Yotei. Also I saw a comment recommending you to play Red Dead Redemption 2. I agree. It is a really long game (Took me around 80 hours to beat the entire game (including side quests, exploring, and the epilogue)) but it's worth it.

Underrated game that you may or may not have played is Hitman 3. Has an entire story mode with amazing levels and very good gameplay can definitely make a few enjoyable videos, I know I’ll watch them. Loved the got play through btw, amazing content, keep up the good work 🙏

idk what the likelyhood of yotei having ANY references to jin is as they take place not just centuries apart, but on complete opposite ends of japan (shit, from my understanding the yotei area was more like an unincorporated wild west of japan). i figure at most, because it's a land of outlaws, they MIGHT have a story or two about the outlaw samurai from backwater tsushima who defeated the mongols. i'm really trying not to set my hopes too high on this front

Not killing the uncle is canon, the whole thing about being a ghost is losing honor, so not killing him is us just being the ghost and not being a slave to honor Also play red dead redemption 2, kinda long but worth the play

I think The Last of Us would be a really good game, it's shorter than Ghost of Tsushima but the story is so amazing! I think your commentary and reactions would really add to it too.
Crazy thing is I never played the last of us part one, but I played a little bit of two and all that made me want to do is go back and really start from the beginning
You should really try to platnum the game because you would love all the Easter eggs. All you need to do is walk around with the travelers attire and track things.
This game was amazing, now all u gotta do is play new game plus and make some op set ups like infinite heavenly strikes or infinite arrows with infinite concentration. Theres also the fire build which clears camps hella fast.
If you kill shimura you'll get the white dye ghost armor, if you spare him well you already got it, red dye ghost armor. Oh yea and please play iki island.
The dlc is definitely very good, but something I really suggest is the game Detroit: Become Human, it's a really good story game I feel like you would really like it
Just wanted to tell you I love your content, ghost of Tsushima or not. I also wanted to tell you that in settings you can turn on mask for cutscenes, it would have made times like yarikawa or the khan's battle look so much better. who's to say the shogun or mainland transplants still respect shimura after he failed to kill jin? you already hear it when jin is sneaking out of jail, several of clan oga are trash talking shimura's failures already. i wouldn't be surprised if he was slowly stripped of his power and humiliated, possibly ending in imprisonment if the shogun was paranoid enough (or a transplant was scheming enough) to say that he was colluding with jin. spare offers the better dramatic possibilities but kill is probably honestly the kinder choice i chose kill because in that moment, it wasnt about what i/jin wanted, but shimura's (probable) dying wish
Since you seem to really enjoy combos and technique and shit like that, I'd highly recommend a game called Sifu! Not focused as heavily on story, but the gameplay is challenging, satisfying, and most importantly, fun.
