I’ve played the outer worlds twice now. It’s such a fun and good game but when you get to that city or planet or whatever it’s called (forgot the name) that starts with a B, I completely lose interest and I give up. I would love to play the game but something is holding me back A LOT so I just moved on and played Skyrim instead etc
Had similar experience with Outer Worlds. I picked it up, super stoked.. played about 2 hours and set it down. Not because it was bad necessarily.. but just didn't grab my attention and had other games I was busy with at that time. The first few hours are a bit slow. Like many great books I have read, decided to give it another try.. and once I got past that slow start, I loved it. I'd love to see a follow up to this with a bigger budget and Obsidian really trying hard to make a AAA game that can take on Fallout.
It sucks that the videos that are not ranking are not getting the views they deserve. Please don’t get discouraged and feel like you only have to do rankings. Your personality shines through in the non rankings videos. You have a loyal subscriber and keep putting out quality content.
All in all, loved the video! Bummed you’re not making em more often. I found this game to be a breath of fresh air with hints of familiarity. I agree with the flaws but I’d still recommend to anyone.
Spot on, man. I ultimately put it in the good-not-great category; there's lots I like, lots I don't, but ultimately I wanted more from the game. Parvati is the best player companion in any game ever though. Your interjections were really funny in this video! I hope you continue doing that!
Very dissapointing RPG, loot system is awful, the game is embarrassingly easy, and ALL the npcs teeter between boring and annoying. Look i like to roleplay as a character in game but its hard to when i can go to the first town immediately after the tutorial with starting gear and kill everyone in there on the hardest difficulty just by spamming the heal button and shooting people in the head as they beeline towards me one by one, despite the whole town being alerted. I get the themes of the dangers of capitalist dystopias but there was absolutely no real driving force in the writing, no idea explored deeply, nothing new is said nothing even remotely interesting to ponder from at least the main story (i didnt bother playing the DLC). I think i dropped the game when i took around 30 minutes getting through a "dungeon" and got the most dissapointing nothing loot ever. You can kill an entire fucking population of raiders and get absolutely nothing of worth besides maybe a gun you didnt have before but that you will get dozens of on your next massacre. Dont even get me started on the weightless boring combat
All the characters were. Any character is, when you commit to projecting strawmen of other people's "mental headspace" by default. It pays to be psychic sometimes I suppose.
@@subhuman8945 If that's how a character is written, unless it's based on an interesting person in the first place, the character is bound to be a failure regardless. Parvati was just that, Vicar Max with his nigh-sudden 180 in his personality didn't make much sense either.
