Thieves' guild is the best for me because it earns you more money not just through completing jobs but also robbing extra loot and fencing them, you establish several contacts along the way and thus growing the guild's influence, and they have a legit cool looking post quest armor set, one of the best in my opinion
While I get he might not be considered a follower, he is the only one who can follow you anywhere and has some of the best scripts of any of the followers. Lucien lachance or the spectral assassin is amazing. If you know him from Oblivian than you already have a soft spot for him. He can be summoned anywhere, he can be your second follower, he talks about things that happened in oblivion and tells you Sithis doesn’t want you to kill Cicero. If you get him near shadowmere he’ll say “shadowmere, my old and dear friend” since he’s the one to give her to you in oblivion. He has unique dialogue for each dark brotherhood quest he can be summoned for. He never included in talks about followers but he’s always top dog in my eyes.
I am picking the Falkreath Lakeview Manor purely because Jarl Sidgeir straight gives it to us for just killing one bandit, no need for Thane rights, so for Dragonborn it would be a sweet deal to settle down and have a spouse and kid in. It's not as dangerous as in Riften with the thieves, with only wild animals and bandits who are a no match for DB and it's also relatively close to Helgen(I am playing alternate perspective so when I start the main quest intro I can have a motivation to head to Falkreath and check on my kid and husband roleplay wise) Edit: Also, I appreciate you separating CC houses from the base plus dlc ones, too many videos merge them and though it is appreciated, not everyone have the nerve to pay Bethesda for brighter lighting and a few extra houses, as well as paid mods
My top two most broken is definitely sneak being 1 and conjuration being 2.. 😂 you can solo anything level 1 with a atronach summon.. grabted Mammoths take like 7 atronachs but u can do it.. most bosses takes 2
I would encourage folks to try using Arniels Shade for themselves. He's tough, can't be destroyed so lasts the full minute every time and is very fast to cast the spell, despite being a two handed cast. A lot of fun to use on any level.
I had Lydia for so long, when she died in a dungeon, I stripped her and put her in the nearby firepit thing. An honorable funeral for my nonwaifu love.
I like Honeyside. It's kinda like an upgraded Breezehome with that cozy feeling, and it's the second cheapest house in the game. But it's definitely not the best one. Riften weirdly is also a city I enjoy a lot. I don't know what it is, but it has that certain appeal to it. Hjerim is the best vanilla house, and I like the house in Morthal due to the fishery. My least favorite house is the one in Markarth. The house itself is fine, but I just hate Markarth overall. It's a giant maze full of stairs, and the Reach overall is in bad shape due to the Forsworn.
In my opinion, steed stone is best one cuz I just carry too many things and dont know what to drop, thats why I get that one skill in pickpocketing which lets you carry more too and can carry a lot of stuff
I actually love breezehome. It's right next to the smithy and is also right by the market which is convenient for survival mode. It's also not far from the alchemist and the companions when you feel like joining.
I hate Markarth. Because of the shit going up there. But I have always loved Riften. It is a hostile place unless you are a member of thieves guild and a friend of Maven 😂😂
Marcurio is funny because hes a nerd, but I had to let him go because, good luck finding the bodies to loot once he shoots them into the next town, so annoying. Hes great other than that.
I only started playing Skyrim last year and I've just finished my first playthrough, I felt I was being dramatic starting a second one so I am relieved to see so many people referring to their multiple playthroughs.
I think you’re taking combat ability for granted, if I’m going into a level 40 dungeon in what world would I want level 20 Sven over a dark brotherhood initiate
Hi Longbrow, once in a while, I come back to Skyrim, and as a habit, I play the game with your clips in the background. However, I can't seem to find your clip on Skyrim spouses anymore.
