Mumbo is a genius. To be honest, I didn't watch a single episode of Zedaph's episodes until today. By switching bases, the viewers will have to watch the videos of other hermits, thus connecting the hermitcraft community, and helping each other out.

I really like how this base swap is bringing a lot of new eyes on Zedaph, and the smaller hermits in general

Grian detailed the cave of contraptions, Zedaph is building contraptions that the mansion needs. Honestly this is a match made in heaven for the two of them.

Zedaph, "Scar" has a base that is alive and needs to be fed golden apples. If you're in the mansion it loads it up. So you gotta feed it from time to time

This episode is so incredibly satisfying. I didn't need surprises, I didn't need shocks or startling revelations, I needed Zedaph rebranding Grian's mansion and conducting science experiments all over it. And that is exactly what I got. Thanks Zed! Also I think this is where your real commercial offering for the Hermits begins - adding contraptions to their bases! The ones they never knew they needed!

Honestly thank you HCBBS for showing me zedaph. I don’t regret it. His humour is just so amusing and he actually explains his videos in a way even I can understand and that’s a big task.

This swap is amazing Zed can definitely give life to Grian's mansion and Grian can give detail to Zed's underground to be more organized except for the fact that he's gonna leave a chest monster behind.

It's so weird to see a hermit actually keep their inventory clean throughout the episode haha

I love how he always voices is dissatisfaction with the back of Grian's base. It's a thing that Grian jokes about as well so its like a little inside joke. Very funny and quality video!!

The Fact that Zedaph and Grian both did cool things to the bases is awesome. The hermits all have such cool, different ideas and this swap is going to be so cool.

Temporal Scout 41 report: this new base is quite large and easy to get lost in, but that makes it very easy to hide. Subject Zedaph has built a small elevator system in the mansion. It hearkens back to a historical small elevator called a dumbwaiter, where food would be delivered from a kitchen area on one floor to a dining room on another floor in just such a dwelling. The affluent owners had employees that cooked and served the food, and the "dumbwaiter" was just that...a dumb waiter, as opposed to a human one. As the arrival of the Hermits a year ago is technically about 300 years before our first recorded use of the dumbwaiter, I believe that the ruins of this mansion will be unearthed during our industrial age, and the dumbwaiter will be used due to this discovery. I must still covertly observe the former base for developments in the aquatic evolution, but the distance between the two is a problem. I must obtain a pair of these flying wings...

Zedaph, I don't know if Grian mentioned this to you off camera, but in the lower entryway to the mansion there's maps of the area. Grian has been occasionally making maps of the jungle, locking them, and putting them up on the wall as a record. I'd really like it if you continue this, I've actually been excited to look at those maps in the end-of-season map since he started it

The mansion has lots of potential but is in need of some modernisation. Zedaph is the perfect person to take on this project. I love the lift, but it also needs a paternoster (I'll wait while you go and google what that is if you didn't know already .....). Also, there's lots of room for friends to stay. Presumably Willy the Worm can have his own suite and maybe Worm Man could also visit?

This base swap was a really good idea by Mumbo (If it is not his thing It would be the biggest plot twist in the whole world lmao). I never watched a Zedaph's vid! It's really complicated to watch a new hermit because you kinda get caught in the middle of everything, and get lost. But swapping bases I can know them without getting lost on his ongoing projects. I really like this base swap thing. It gets the smaller hermits (like Zedaph, no offence) advertised by the bigger hermits (like Grian). E.g. this video has 95k views now, while Zedaph's last video (1 week ago) now has 79k views (still an amazing amount). Hopefully Zedaph will still get these views after the base swap ends, from the Grian viewers that stay :)

I feel an odd sense of nostalgia by watching you for the first time. You have the same feeling as the minecraft youtubers of old.. stampy, sky, sparklz.. also, maybe i'm just boring but I would've suggested water pillars, but it might just be because I'm inpatient lol
