Decided to start trying to learn gw2 modding around a week ago and i have mainly been trying to make an unban tool let's just pray one is found. Edit: i'm obviously not good at it yet but still it is something.
@@Fqntaa it is pretty much impossible. If we were able to write our own code then maybe it would be possible but due to how the game and frosty editor work it is really hard.
Never ever could i have believed that the game i bought in 2018 and played it so much as a kid i got its platinum trophy on ps4 would be facing a serious problem of players banning each other in game itself. It just really is so sad that this innocent game is actually facing this, since it is not even very popular nowadays. Could we all just respect the videogame as it is aging and some day never even played again by anybody?

The scary part about this is popcap is currently in a management hellhole I saw a tweet by pvz media that showed an employee review, they just hire people, promote them to manager without management skills, not firing bad/useless employees, not shipping software with any consistency, and lots of bad employees come into the door, if anything EA needs to step in and fix their shit immediately
Also *theoretically* there is a way for people to ban on console, *HOWEVER* the modding/homebrew/hacking scene on PS4/PS5/XBOX is extremely limited, expensive,and risky, consoles have better security then PC due to you not being able to modify files as easily, the worst you have to worry about is that guy that's using a modded controller to snipe you with law pea
Something about a group of people who got access to something where they can ban accounts happened. They said they were going for people with a high profile, basically youtubers/well known players, and they don't intend to "ban random people". So yea there was already a couple bans for some other players. I hope your account goes back to normal fuji.

This is what happens when little kiddies get bullied at school a bit too much, and after realizing that no one in real life in fact likes them they feel the need to compensate it by enforcing "power" (in quotations because all they're doing is banning people in a 7 year old nigh dead video game) in the first place they can, ofc hiding behind avatars and profile pictures because otherwise they'd get their shit kicked in (probably like they do already in school lmfao)
Either this game will get resolved, or this game will be remembered in the community as the biggest tragedy from the plants Vs zombies franchise. At least for PC.
Popcap and EA needs to do something if they don't want to players refund the games like gw2, gw1 and bfn. That's 3 game and if a lot of people want a refund that's a lot of money loss for EA and Popcap
We’ll have to see if EA or someone at PopCap steps in to help. They did it for Star Wars Battle Front 2 when that games servers started to struggle due to a glitch that occurred from hackers. Edit: EA/Dice stepped in for Battlefront 2.
@@GNVS300 idk man… compared to other games similar to this one, 1000 players average isn’t a lot, but that’s just my opinion. I wouldn’t say it’s dead, but it’s on its last leg, ESPECIALLY with this exploit.
on pc. on console at least for x box the game is thriving, especially for a 6-7 year old online game. pc might die but the console version still is good.@@MoaiGaming1

So i got pVz gw2 two weeks ago hoping to reminisce the old days of pVz gw1, I play the garden missions exited about vs real people. At the time I couldn’t find a match so I decided to find some pVz RU-vid videos to watch in the meantime. After I see ‘online is not safe you will get banned’ just killed me inside 😔 haven’t played an online game yet.
If you were playing on a console you could force the game to delete your entire data so your levels will be back to normal but at least you don't have to pay for the game again unfortunately you lose Ur variants
i might of gotten banned as well but the good news is that ea is moving gw2 to kernal so at this point, it should fix the banning issue when it does come
Its sad that this game is sort of in the same state of team fortress 2, they are both class/team based shooters that have been abandoned by their creators and are only surviving off of the community and their mods or random stuff and also overrun by hackers

You know, I think it's going to become one of those call of duty lobbies where it's not from the actual call of duty matches, I'm not sure if you get what I'm saying, but it's sort of like a reference towards you could be able to play a call of duty modded map, but you can be able to join anyone's lobbies in a list of libraries form, And I was thinking this could be the scenario where we all must enable a mod or some sort of being able to join a multiplayer together, If you catch my drift
