So I made THREE Genshin Impact Surveys 

One comment I wanted to add after the survey was that when looking at the data of this survey it's important to keep in mind that we as your followers are more likely to be interested in Genshin Impact lore than the average player. :)

There's no worse feeling than when you try to remember something only to go completely blank because it's either too much at once or it's been a while that you haven't thought about.

Question "How long do you play Genshin Impact daily?" its very hard to answer and it depends heavily on how much content there is in genshin. On dry patches its maybe 30 minutes but when there is new area, quests etc I obviously play more, until I have done everything. xD

Going through that survey made me realize I didnt remember the character story quests very well. Had to look up some summaries of ones the community generally considers very good/very bad to jog my memory

I think the second survey was a bit confusing on what exactly I was supposed to judge/choose. For example if I was supposed to choose a character that's really fleshed out or someone that's likable and nice (example: Wanderer vs Nilou)

In the 3rd survey you didn't at all include the weapon banner which is actually the banner that is criticized much more. I see way more people complaining about that banner than the character banner. (i think fate points are the main concern)

As someone who doesn't usually pay too close attention to character design, I had to go back to the character archive to look at characters and realized that a lot of characters have many details that I've missed completely.

In the "Genshin Fans Don't Read" survey, there is a question about trustworthiness and completeness of secondary sources. I have no idea how to answer that. Some secondary sources are excellent at citing sources and walking through the full logic. Others just jump to conclusions. So I just selected the middle option...

Would have liked to have seen a breakdown by gender and age on Survey 3 to see if there's any marked difference in what different people consider important when pulling for characters, but ah well.

Filled out all 3 surveys. It was a fun task. I've only consistently been playing Genshin for about 2 years now but have done most things in the game. All story quests, archon quests, hangouts, exploration is almost maxed and have almost every character lol

For the questions about personality is it about who we find to be the most/least approachable based on their traits or is it about which characters we believe had their personality portrayed the best/worst? I could give two completely different answers for each one and I feel others might have answered it a particular way without a second thought.

I play the game a bit and then go to sleep, I always tell myself I'm going to read on something but the cellphone kind hurts my eyes after playing plus sleepiness, so I usually just put Genshin lore videos to know what's up while I'm doing other activities like cleaning the house, but I really enjoy the story and read all dialogues, I feel bad about losing this kind of content. I wish I could listen to Genshin books, I love the lore, I'll enter the game one day just to read them lol. I also love speculating on stuff but unfortunately none of my friends are interested in Genshin :/

I had difficulties answering the 3rd Survey, since it didn't really cover my reasons i do things in the options. For one. i don't play daily anymore. Maybe just around 3 times every patch to get the new Story content and some events. so it makes no sense for me to buy welkin and battle pass anymore. And until now i just got every character regardless, but i may hold off on doing that from now on. since i stopped building characters even if i like them. Just not enjoying the grind in genshin. My sentiment about the game really changed quite a bit recently, compared to before

It’s a little weird how the quesitons on lore asked about whether we read character stories but then the ones quizzing you on whether you know about certain topics are like all deep lore and not so much interest on the more superficial lore of the game or the kind that is more easily available

I haven't played Genshin since 2020. I just like the lore and so I watch your videos and some youtube clips with cutscenes

I've finished the survey and here's a little feedback for survey 3 There are some players that refused to spent money on the game because it's more fun that way, so they show their love for their character by buying merchandise, you should've add those too if you want to judge how much they like the character/genshin

After doing the survey, I want to add something: not all of your viewers are from US/English speaking countries.I think it's fair to add that the price for paid things (primos, etc) in Genshin is only targeted to U.S players, and are EXTREMELY expensive for non U.S american players.

I spend on genshin even if I don't need to anymore (1.0 player with 100k gems at the moment). I have a strict limit of only welkin and BP and I believe they deserve my few cents for not half assing the game like almost every live service game after first year....even if there are flaws they produce high quality content both in game and on their youtube (trailers, demos, concerts, music)

The urge to answer Kazuha on every "who is the best in terms of (...)" question but deciding not to.

It's funny how sometimes polls affect the very thing they are asking about. If the question about my lore confidence had been asked in a vacuum, I would've said that I was good. But then the questions about the individual parts came and I was like "What was that again? And this? Aw, fuck..." and thus down went my self-assessment.

I filled two out. I don't have much interest in the drip marketing though as I don't really go on that when choosing who to pull for. I was all set to ignore Neuvillette and then after 4.0 I couldn't wait to pull for him. I think importance in lore is what motivates me...and the character's design and personality. Don't give up your lore videos though, please. There's not many people I go to for theories.

A lot of these questions were awkward to answer. "How often do you play Genshin on average?" -- now, after 4 years? Log in, do my thing, get out. But when there's new content, that's a different story. "Which have you bought in the last three months? " -- Umm, none of the above? I used to buy Welkin/BP, but have been F2P for 2 years. "What is the best/worst character that is not playable? " -- I have no idea what I am or am not allowed to count here. Alice? Liben? Rana? Jeht? Do "the Harbingers" count as one entity, judging from how that was written? And how do I quantify the responses offered in the 1-5 section? Should I just ignore the wording and treat them like a 1-5 scale? I could go on, but the short answer is that I think there's some flaws in your sampling.

I think the methodology of the character survey is highly flawed. I found that my responses often did not accurately convey my opinions because the options are so limited. Like or dislike of a character cannot be generalised to all characters in my experience, and my reasons for my opinions on each character are highly individual - as are my reasons for pulling. I don't personally believe the character survey is useful without more open questions and freer answers.

(example: The Harbingers, Celestia, etc etc) " Does it refer to a specific character (like Dottore, the Sustainer, Varka etc?) or groups of characters (Harbingers, Knights of Favonious, Archons)??

The survey design is wrong. You have 4 choices rating secondary sources comprehensive/trustworthy and only one rating them untrustworthy. The midpoint should've been an "i don't know/neutral" answer rather than an affirming "trustworthy" answer. I'm not doing any of your surveys because of this design.

best characters: personality = yoimiya cuteness = kirara the most overrated = bennet (to anyone wanting to ague about this, the majority of the time the team i was in was wiped was because he applied pyro on us. also there's far better support then him) crossing water = furina (why swim when you can run?) climbing = kirara running = yelan strongest (lorewise) = neuvillete (dragons like apep got their power stolen so the archons can use it. since neuvilete got his powers back he's surely stronger then an archon. the best story in video = noelle best underwater fighter = furina (on top of having access to both pneuma and ousia to deactivate mekas, her passive recharge the underwater attck faster) worst characters: personality = do i really need to say "wanderer"?
