I personally think that Rhinedottir is dangerously curious Basically, she want to improve, learn new thing, but at the same time she is not scared to use dangerous method For example, we know that she want to be seen as a mother, I mean, Durin and Elynas both literally call her "Mother" and see the other creation as sibling. Something that is shared with Albedo, despite the fact he refer to her as "Master", he also consider her the closest thing to his mother, and refuse to call Alice "Mom" However, they are also very dangerous, and while they don't mean any harm, they can easily lose control of themself and unconsciouly hurt other, literally. And I think that why the Magnum Opus is so important. The little wolf shit are barely a part of this, and they hurt basically everyone, because they are failed experiment. They literally are accidents Durin and Elynas work as the blackening, they are aware of their surrounding, but like the wolfs, they can get corrupted and hurt other, without meaning it. Albedo, being the whitening, is more mature than the other two, and he have less chance to lose control of himself, however, the chance are not zero. Also, something I noticed is that Durin and Elynas specifically lost their control during the cataclysm. Which make me believe there are some factor that can make them loose themself. Which is why I believe that Rhinedottir left Albedo when she found the artefact, we don't really know what it is, however, it is suspected to be like a gnosis, in some way. Which would explain why she left Albedo. And why Mondstadt ? Because of all the nations, it's by far the most welcoming (If you aren't a Lawrence) and the least dangerous, in some way. I mean, compare it to the other nation so far, people are probably the happiest over here. And there is also like you said the remain of Durin, and Alice. And, if he ever lose control, the people there are powerful enough to stop him. And, while it probably wasn't foreseen by Rhinedottir, he have 2 stalker that will be able to tell the other before thing get out of end. Also one of them could probably defeat him by himself
The way Mika's design isn't even bad, it's just people's opinion of his EN VA seeping in. Diluc's model is also not the reason why his design is bad, and Bennett's design serves a purpose outside of fanservice but I wouldn't call it bad. Dori deserves it though.
I haven’t seen anyone mention this, but as someone who loves esoteric religions, and has learned a lot about genshin lore without playing it, but it really seems to draw on two concepts, demonology and gnosticism. Demonology is obvious through this video and comment section, but in this “TED talk”, I’m going to go into the gnosticism part. Gnosticism is a heretical sect of christian theology that believes in two gods, Christ, and the god of the Old Testament. The god of the Old Testament is seen as evil, for creating a world that tortures humanity. He is served by seven lesser deities, who rule over elements and are associated with seven planets. These lesser deities are also seen as the highest demons, evil spirits who serve the evil god. These lesser deities, the head of the demons, are called archons. Hence, why it can be seen as to why the seven archons in genshin are named after demons. This gives an alternative to the hell theory, but instead implies evidence of celestial being based on El, the evil deity of gnosticism. I think the genshin team did extraordinary research if this turns out to be the basis of the game and the names. It could also point to the traveler being the gnostic notion of Jesus in Teyvat, one who helps leads his followers out of the evil world into “heaven” or the good world, one of bliss. Kinda crazy. I simplified this a bit, but I it is part of it. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
This would also explain why the roots to celestia are called a gnosis, because in Gnosticism, one learns of the truth about the world through gnosis, or knowledge, so said knowledge could be a connection to celestia. Hence, why the archons have their gnosis, and why the fatui are hunting down all gnosis.
5:45 the reason why steaks are egregiously expensive in the Philippines is due to how complicated it is to make, in a Filipino perspective. pinoy butchers usually just seprate a cow by; head, ribs, loin, belly and legs. and what they do after is just dicing it randomly, disregarding the grain ect. an example, a steak can only be realistically bought, is in special grocery stores here (like SNR, or Landers) where steaks are alreqady cut in whatever part it is from ribeyes to porterhouses which drives up the prices, instead of having a regular price of beef (which is still expensive in this inflated economy). best a local butcher from a filipno "palengke" can do is a Tbone Porterhouse, which are often only bought by fancy restaurants, which whe3n served in said restaurant are often marked up considerably high. not to mention the cooking skill nbeeded to pull off a steak that wont end in well done. on the topic of well done, filipinos arent a fan of steaks in general due to the rarity of it, being considered as 'raw'. i often cook steak for my family, and wheni first did that, they didnt eat it becasue they said i quote "HILAW PA". oh and to make a good steak, you need a good pan, like cast iron, which is incredibly expensive. as for therarity of now its dertermined, theres alot of ways. theres the pressing the meat while refering it to your palm; put your thumb and X finger together, andpress the part of the palm just under the thumb, and thats how rare it is inside; no finger is raw, idex is bleu rare, middle is medium rare, ring is medium well, and pinky is well done (aka ovecooked). theres also the thermometer method which i dont know how to use, and ofcourse the pinoy method, tanchemeter, eyeball that meat and guess whats its rarity
but there is a cheat way to do it. ask a local butcher in a palengke for a tbone, and hope the price of beef that week is low (check morning news/ tv patrol and 24 oras for info), and have 2 relatively thick cut around 1/4 kg each so thats 1/2kg. thats enough for a family of 4 to 5 if you bring rice. to cook it, you use a non-stick pan intead, on high heat. and dont fear splaters. tuyo, and bangus splaters more. dont move it for 1:30 minute, then flip it, and put it aside for 10 minutes. while thats coolong down, add garlic, and onions on the pan that still has the oil, sauté it, then add an all purpose cream, shredded quickmelt cheese, and a splash of water, and season to taste, and simmer untiol cheese has been metled. and book steak sauce, by then steak is cooled enough, so u cut it while praying to Gordon Ramsay that its not overcooked, or raw on second thought, yeah its still complicated than just making an adobo
6:15, yeah whateverplace youe ordering that steak is either upcharging you, or theygot that steak from angus or wagyu. i did once try to buy a really good angus steak once, which costed me 1700 pesos for 2 slices. i cooked it to medium well, and by Zongli's booty it was heavenly, but by gods its so expensive i didnt eat the entire day afterwards though sheer trauma. just get a yee 4ss steak from a palengke for fraction of the cost if better... by calculation if i try to sell that at a restaurant, one slice which would cost 850, plus labor, plus location rent, plus other ingrdients such as the butter, and aromatics, yeah that gonna cost 2000 pesos. steaks when bought from a restaurant can get expensive real fast, but cooking it at home using basica cooking techniques, affordable ingridients, and RNGesus. i would argue would make a better steak than a 2000 pesos steak, thats twice as flavorful, and thrice cheaper take it from a mf who learned cooking during the pandemic
Everywhere I look....I see genshin. It's a curse. I see a book? Experience. Must collect. I see anime...I start drooling at the mouth. another chance, another chance to grind for exp materials...What's that? A blue seashell? put it in my pocket. I can use to ascend my Gaming. Gaming, from Genshin impact. Genshin impact, is gaming. Life is gaming.
5:45 I have been learning how to cook steak properly and to do so we actually need to use a thermometer to check internal temperature, depends on the type of meat there are charts for that, like in the case of cow meat, cooked under 50°c internally it is considered Rare, cooked up to 54°C is medium rare, 60°C is Medium, 65°C - Medium Well and over 68° is Well done, at this point the meat just get too dry. the cooking technique you use depends on how thick the steak is, you have to control the heat to take your internal temperature to the desired point without burning the exterior or in the other way, not cooking it enough to create the golden-brown crust due to the Maillard reaction of the protein.
I will always love Lyney but I imagine if we ever cut ties with the Knave, he’ll have to put that first of course. But as long as that doesn’t come to happen, I will always be ready to journey with the magician, charismatic, or his true self.
I think the archons are waiting and watching. They distanced themselves against their gnosis by making it look like (to Celestial?) they were forced to give them away. Then they stepped back and are waiting to see which division (group) takes the lead. At the end of the Itto music quest, Ei tells Ya Miko that there is a war coming and though she does not want to fight, hopes her people will follow her if necessary. I think the archons all knew there would be another war. I think that is why Nahida has the Wanderer as her “top agent” and the Traveler as First Sage of Buer. (She also has Alhaitham as well). Then she is doing her own catching up by trying to understand the world she is in. We know El Docttore also told Nahida some very important secret information. What the information is we will have to see. Both Neuvilette and Farina were in Liyue “on vacation”, but I think (at least Neuvilette) was checking out the other countries. With Skirk’s advice Neuvilette gave his gnosis to Arlecchino after regaining his full power. The older archons have more of an idea what may happen and the younger ones are coming into the knowledge. I really feel Ei gave a big big hint on what might be coming.
With steaks naming them it depends how raw they are cause you can pretty much eat red meat raw. Rare it would still be bleeding and hardly cooked. Medium rare , medium, medium well and then well done if I’m not mistaken. If you don’t like seeing pink or blood I’d suggest well done.
