please do not call silver, trunks. and tails do not deserve hate. continue the hate and you will suffer the wrath of the tails fanbase. and to explain why silver should actually be trick so easy because he lives in a wasteland, anyone would fall for the trick if their home was a wasteland. his character is naive, just as blaze puts it. Hes trying to save his world from becoming a wasteland, so getting trick into thinking killing sonic would save his world is actually smart.

it's all good man, I'm just glad you enjoyed the game. Silver is likely to release at the end of the year, and even if not I'm waiting patiently for the best Sonic game ever made (imo)

ChaosX, I have also played P-06 and really enjoyed it but recently, i have been experiencing graphical issues with the game. I am not sure what the root cause is exactly but I suspect that it might be my graphics driver. The strange thing is is that it worked perfectly fine before but now the graphics are more glitchy with random rectangles of colours popping over all over the gameplay and models randomly glitching out. My graphics driver is a Radeon vega graphics for the asus vivobook 15 X512D. I hope this helps.

Hey can you port it to Android and linux and try to optimize the game, use LODs, since you are using unity it's pretty easy to set up but you'll have to make the models simpler for that.

That’s probably a blessed timeline But unfortunately for me, that would mean the team wouldn’t have been split to make Secret Rings, then subsequently Black Knight too, and Black Knight is one of my favourite games in the series (probably a bit of childhood nostalgia, but I do genuinely think it’s a good game without the nostalgia-goggles)

What's even more crazy is Chaos has stated that he hasn't actually played the original game. He's rebuilding the game from the ground up using reference images and videos on top of what his experience with other Sonic games' design.

ChaosX is a criminal and should not be supported. P-06 promotes piracy just by existing since it is a recreation of an official game being distributed for free, essentially the same as torrenting a cracked copy of a game. Furthermore, he is racist and transphobic and he just blocks anyone who criticizes his game. The man is just really scummy and should stop engaging in piracy or else he'll put the entire fangame community in jeopardy.

@@Eldoofus There are, in fact, no shield items at all in the original release.

In addition, there was an official strategy guide that listed a speed upgrade for Silver available in the game's shop. The item isn't there in the final game.

Someone was looking through the files of 06 and he found an unused shield item box. I think I heard somewhere that it was featured in the E3 demo, so that could explain why the manual still contains that shield box.

It's not true, most of those features from the E3 demo are left over on the final game's disk. There's been a lot of mods and patches made to restore them, seems that most of them were either accidentally removed during development or intentionally removed for gameplay reasons or just generally being unfinished and buggy.

It’s the prequel to Final Fantasy VII released on the PSP that follows Zack Fair, one of Cloud Strife’s closest companions and one of the main reasons he went down his dark mental path in FFVII. Crisis Core is also getting a heavily enhanced remaster called Crisis Core: Reunion. It looks to be taking a good bit of creative liberties in art style and presentation with the recent FFVII remake trilogy project serving as its foundation while maintaining the original combat system with quality of life features.

There are many mistakes we catch in the editing process and then there are rare ones like this where just go “That’s a masterpiece of a mistake. Leave it in.” Calling Flame Core “Crisis Core” is one of those mistakes!

Why would they? With the problems the Story has, a Re-imagining would be what they'd need to make, not a remake.

Segas higher ups need to learn. They treat everyone that works for them like trash and force holiday deadlines on all developers even when they aren't done with the game. Sega then basically blames the team that worked on that title. Good example would be DIMPS, sonic team, big red button, even head cannon now.... they never learned from a single fucking mistake.

There are over hundreds of sonic fan-games that still exist. How many Mario, or even Nintendo fan-games are there?

@@wuavo9157 The issue is that they're using entirely ripped assets rather than modding the original or producing new assets, that crosses some lines that haven't been tested regarding IP laws. You can totally loose control of IP in western countries if you don't properly control them. Meanwhile, Nintendo was going after people using entirely fan-produced assets, which as been tested and passed previously. The Nintendo only gets away with it by targeting people who literally can't afford to take it to court.

So, like...literally the exact same story but with Elise being not romantic? That's basically what you just described.

Sonic stories barely delve into series topics & even more rarely is them going in depth into certain strugglee of certain characters. I just want 06 to fulfill its potential by actually addressing arcs & seeing noticable growth.

@@SussyBaka_irl It used to do that quite often actually, Shadow had an arc spanning four games, Tails had a character arc in Adventure 1 and 2, Knuckles had one in 3K, Silver had an arc in 06, and so on.

Well here's the issue: • Tails has some decent arcs, but not only do they span across just 2 games, but afterwards, his progress literally regresses, which btw his feats of defeating Chaos 4 & Eggman in the SCA weren't exactly mind-blowing. Sure he defended Station Square from Eggman, but that was just 1 arc, after like 30 years. He does grow from each of those experiences though, which is what's most important, however I swear from Heroes onwards, that same growth just vanishes. • Shadow in SA2 never truly conveys his trauma of witnessing the death of Maria, how much she shaped him & why she's his motivation. Rarely any monologue's & we just don't see Shadow struggle internally enough, barring maybe 2 scenes. Heroes barely moves Shadow's story forward, other than giving him an existential crisis, which Shadow the Hedgehog tried exploring, but the coutcomes were poorly executed & that game only helps Shadow to forgive humanity & confirm that he's the original Shadow, which all could've been answered in SA2 alone. 06 however done on amazing job on conveying Shadow's present, his growth & what'll become of him in the future, however his future will mean losing people almost as important to him as Maria & we just don't see Shadow struggle much in accepting that reality. He does learn that his friends are going to stand by him & he'll fight for himself, but honestly the process of his growth in his character in 06 feels too subtle & lacking, so his growth just feels unnatural, but it's easily the best interpretation of Shadow yet. • Silver feels too dumb in 06, because his motivations aren't explained by his actual situation & what I mean by that is he's lost everything & wants to save what he once lost, however we don't see Silver desperate or tempted to do anything immoral, because internal monologue's are rare & instead he just acts, because he randomly trusts Mephiles outta nowhere. We could've seen Mephiles tempt Silver into returning to the past, by emotionally blackmailing the guy, through the thought of losing the chance to save his future again, but we just dont see that. Let's see the pain of someone whose lost their entire world, friends, family, livelihood & just how far they'll go to reclaim everything, before being saved by the truth that he hears from those that he meets in the past like Amy, Shadow & Sonic. • Knuckles is a different type of storytelling, in that it's completely silent & lacks any narration, but it's still pretty decent for what that type of storytelling offers. I just want Sonoc stories to go as far as their potential we allow them. So that we can see considerable growth, fulfilling narratives improved & genuinely care & root for these characters, because honestly most Sonic stories aren't ever reaching that goal & the few that do, just don't go further enough imo.

@@SussyBaka_irl Silver is naive. He trusts Mephiles because it's not like there's anything else he can do, and there's a whole cutscene where he questions if killing Sonic is the morally right thing to do.

I wish your allies in stages still did their death screams when they fall off

One small note: it's not a mod, it's a game remade from the ground up in Unity. Correction aside, I think that's an interesting idea.
