So I Played Suicide Squad Kills The Justice League... (Review) 

They should have made a Justice League game instead of Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League. Imagine flying around Metropolis as and shooting lasers as Superman. Running to any place at super speed as the Flash. And creating many objects as Green Lantern. It would have been much fun.

So we can all agree that the Arkhamverse ended in 2015.

My biggest issue is the fact that this came takes place in the Arkham universe and says that Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay isn’t cannon.

The biggest mistake they did was making it a shooter game with comic book characters

I don’t get how the guy wearing bullet proof armor died to a bullet to the head.

There were rumors rocksteady were going to make a single player Superman game after Arkham Knight but Warner Bros. forced them to make a live service game. They've dismissed it but last year rocksteady's co-founder Sefton Hill left the company and looking at the state of the game... It has a lot of traces of developer grievances. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a statement from ex- employees on the development cycle in a few years.

I played all of the arkham games including origins and god damn batman was done so dirty it just hurts

If I played this game with Chris, I bet it would be a 10/10 good time

A GTA online style game set in the DCU would be such a good idea. You could play as a human, meta human or Alien, unlock cool weapons and powers, and decide what you want to do whenever (want to rob a bank, you can. Stop a robbery, also you can) There should also be a wanted system where if you get maximum wanted the Justice League comes to arrest you. The map could evolve with the DCU and there could be an overarching story that connects to the DCU. Also better if it’s free to play, but can buy a battle pass for new powers and stuff, as well as an item shop similar to Fortnite.

I love your take on the game, you go into detail about every little part! I’m not gonna lie though I’ve been enjoying my time playing the game (ive also been playing w/ some friends), I see it as something different, and I believe the map is fantastic! (I wish it was a little more Alive) I do think the combat isn’t no where near as elite as the Arkham Games, but I still see it as a welcoming change! Love the vid Chris ❤

One thing I'd like to mention about the game that I don't think I've heard people talk about, is how it depicted Brainiac. I thought the design was kind of interesting and I really love Jason Isaacs as the voice actor, but the dialogue and portrayal was really weird. Since when does Brainiac want to restore Colu? What he wants in the comics is to collect worlds in order to enhance his knowledge. His home planet is irrelevant to him. That felt more like something General Zod would do. Also my problem with his dialogue was that it felt too casual and often funny, when Brainiac is supposed to be cold and calculating.

imagine instead we got a final batman game where brainiac had taken over the minds of the justice league but not hatman cause he was persumed dead and this got batman to come out of hiding one last time to face off agasint the justice league, brainiac and save the world. All in one night! now that would be crazzzy

So understand that the main people involved with rocksteady left because they didn't want to be a part of this

Aight. They need to make DLC where after the 1st member u can kill is killed u can use a part of that character's arsenal as a means of getting to Brainiac himself to kill him (for instance John Stewart's Green Lantern Ring (used by whoever's deemed the most fearless, a bit of Flash's costume could have some of his hair on it which could be used to give a specific character access to the speed force, Superman could have a random lead to the fortress of solitude where a character could get their hands on some Platinum Kryptonite (which near-permanently gives a person Kryptionian abilities though it's likely to be nullified by Gold Kryptonite which takes a Kryptonian's powers away, which will probably happen to the user by the end to prevent villainous activity), etc.) and in order to get around Kevin's passing he could have a dialogue-less exit (since Batman just dipping without a word is a very Batman thing to do.), perhaps with a nice use of the iconic BTAS/Burton era Batman theme to honor the man on his way out, maybe even with him leaping off into the night in front of the moon.

Hopefully they add additional story elements via their seasonal updates. Maybe Kevin did more scenes for this game and we get a multiverse twist that brings back the Bat and other JL hero’s

Am still going to give this game a chance some elements do look fun and future content has me interested

I think what would have been cool is have a game and maybe make it PvP where some players play as superheroes against other players playing villains and have a third group controlled by NPC enemy for both to be put against, so like a three way tango of insane chaos ( a option of solo as either superhero or supervillain perspective) plus maybe throw in an insane mechanic system where if your a villain you extra points for terrorizing people to destroying stuff beside either evading superheroes to hitting them. Superheroes get extra points saving people to lessening the damage of the city. In the end have a main centric boss

My problem is that game is the mission and combat gets a bit repetitive, and that it’s a live service game that requires internet even if you’re doing the main mode, and last thing I have issue is them setting the game connected to the Arkham games because, this Arkham Batman beated lots of villain in a single night, and got beaten easily… in this game

They should had Batman be the one to help them. I cannot comprehend how they didn’t do that considering Batman is the one that has contingency plans for every person he meets. Not to mention HES THE MAIN CHARACTER OF THIS GOD DAMN SERIES!

Rocksteady obviously didn’t know Kevin would die, but the fact his 32 year long career as Batman ends with Batman executed on a park bench, killed by Harley Quinn is so… depressing…

Some of the hate for this game just feels so forced though… I can understand the criticism with the gameplay loop but a lot of the people hating haven’t even played it yet and are just hating because other people are.

KEEP UP THE GAME REVIEWS even if you aren’t necessarily a gaming channel i feel like you still get it when it comes to games just like you do with movies

I think it woulda been a lot more fun if they made a suicide squad game without killing the JL. They coulda done it like splinter cell where u send them on a main mission to retrieve stuff to kill someone but had mini missions in between and where their are random fights And give people the options to do sneak fights for extra points or jus regular ones to complete the mission. Then they coulda added rankings toward the missions for replayability where you can get special weapons or points or skins for certain ranks

I'm late to the Bat-Party with the Arkham games. I completed Asylum recently, currently playing Arkham City with Arkham Origins, Arkham Knight, and Origins Blackgate on deck. I'm not trying to 100% do all the achievements either, just trying to go through the story and take it all in, thinking that I'll get into the Suicide Squad Kills the Justice League game eventually... but I'm not sure if I will. Arkham City is seeming a bit daunting to me currently but I did just start it trying to get use to the new dynamics introduced and playing as Catwomen. I feel I'm more like you where I enjoy the cut-scenes and story elements more than the game play at times. Even the Avengers game I'm finally trying out and it's the same, I'm more into the story than I am the game play of beat up these bad guys, then these bad guys, then these bad guys... that type of game play in these types of games bore me, along with anything that has puzzles. Damn that Riddler!

So one correction, this game wasn't in the response to The new DCU this game has been in development for 7 years. Apparently they wanted to do a Superman or Justice League game but WB shot them down.

3c just a thought: the rocksteady team that worked on the Arkham games left and started their own games studio and the team that was left was around when rocksteady created shooters, and you know WB being a POS

I think having this game set in the Arkham Universe was a really bad call from Rocksteady. If this was an elseworlds story, there probably would be less backlash. Regardless, I would've preferred a Superman or Justice League game instead of this.
