i feel like butch having the junkyard would be more fitting cus he fits the classic junkyard dog criteria. also beau seems more of the farmy type to me, even if he would have no idea what's going on. it'd just kinda work out for him lmao.

girl, bestie, I think Butch should defo have his own little trash king junkyard, with an old beat up car, tools, maybe even some newspaper stands, the works (Idk he remind me of my grandpa who would tinker a lot/ do woodwork) Beau gives me farm vibes but "I'm going to do basically no work(let the rep do all it!), and eat all the yummy food!" so I'm sure he would be thrilled! On my island I'm putting Beau in charge of our farmers market! This is such a beautiful build Nat, you really keep inspiring me! (been so burnt out lately)

The lake is looking so good so far Nat! You have inspired me to make an actual bigger lake on my island Zara, and to give my villagers actual jobs on the island, LOL. As always thanks for the inspo!

lake terraforming is a beast.. you absolutely nailed it. looks super pretty with the log cabin by it!!

i definitely think the junkyard fits beau better; i feel like he'd be too lazy to work on a farm realistically. plus junkyards are breeding grounds for bugs (i happen to live next to a landfill and lemme tell ya... the roach situation is real 😭) but beau loves bugs so that would probably be a huge plus for him!

I love the little commentary about the drama on your island. Also love that Genji and Marshal are lovers! LOL this lake came out amazing so far! ^o^

I had Butch on my island for a long time and he always gave me 'grumpy old man that loves car vibes ' so I could easily see him with the junkyard 😂 maybe he has a broken down car nearby he's been working on forever?

Your lake turned out beautifully! I listened to this video while working on my island during my lunch break, so when you started talking about that being your dream, it cracked me up! Also, I too made the flawed choice of a Resident Services directly in front of, but not in alignment with, my airport. I built a mountain in between the two to disguise this fact but I’d love to see how you handled this most cursed island layout lol.

Omg bestie, Butch is my dad too!!! As in.... that's my dads IRL nickname LOL. Everyone has their own opinions on how the villagers are but remember, this is YOUR island and YOUR villagers. You know them better than anyone casually watching would, so what they would like should fit how you view them and what would make you happy. Don't feel bad if you feel you should go against what commenters say because at the end of the day, your island should make you feel happy. ALSO!!! I tried cutting through the woods like you did to get to my house for the same reasons by getting off at an early neighborhood near mine. Bro, some random parents ratted us out and we got in trouble with the bus driver. 💦

Gah, you make me want to upgrade my puny lake! Butch would be ideal for a junk yard because dogs & junk yards always seem to have some sort of correlation (think The Sandlot etc.) but I wouldn't be bothered if Beau took up the role as the junk yard guy.
