They should just make items and offerings the same thing. You burn a purple Medkit offering and one will be in a chest.

It's not an issue. It will always be like this in a game where you die then have to stop playing or go to another match.

@@Rob526 Bad phrasing but good message. The games fundamental core is so off balance that no matter what bandaid fixes they add, unless they rework the core mechanics then it will never achieve balance.

"Is it impossible to win while playing semi fair" The way this question is framed is wrong, do you know what fair means? Fair for who? The survivors? Meaning it's not fair, because fair is balanced.

it is an issue 100% Reasons I stopped playing at the last patch. I don't care about the perk reworks nor the killr buff. The playerbase somehow got worse. The Killers only Camp and Tunnel now, no normal games any more. Survivors always ragequit and DC and the queues are super long. Like... everyone plays like a dick suddenly, more than before. It always was a thing, but at least I got like 4 good matches, 6 dicks... now it's a 10 out of 10 bad game....

Yeah, whenever something unexpected happens to a DBD streamer, I rewatch the clip to see chat’s reaction! It’s kind of fun to see the contrast between the streamer and their chat.

It’s so funny how even with cheats, they still suck at the game 😂

Played a game of Hag where I would walk away from a hook after hooking a Claddette for that same Claddette to keep on running into my traps second she was off hook. They wouldn't disarm or harrass traps so I always had a full web of traps. Killed the survivor pretty early and got called out for tunneling.

i just went against someone whos entire build was endurance endurance endurance and he'd get behind everybody in chase and take hits no matter what hook stage they were on , even fully healed ppl . after the game he (a pc player) either turned on his playstation to dm me (playstation player) calling me names for "going for him all game" .. ????

It'd be cool if they added like a bunch of stuff to it. Add locker opening speeds, hooking speed, attack recovery speed, etc. A truly jack of all trades perk instead of being bamboozle and brutal but worse

@@evelynnsingleton1211 i say boost the number of the overall boost to 25% (but shift them so the first couple stacks give more of the overall boost) and then make it also effect basic successful and missed attacks. So it'd be a true jack of all trades with a bit of every QOL perk with the downside being it just doesn't start out like that. It would also synergize with loads of perks and add-ons.

Thematically it has so much potential. The killer growing in power as they become more desperate and the end game approaches? Lots of opportunity to do something good with that. But you know, it’s a Freddy perk so…

It's still not a terrible perk by any means, especially if you aren't taking the game too seriously (against weaker teams your build's also a bit weaker, but at that point it's not like you needed more power anyways), and it's actually a staple part of my Clown build (as in the Killer, not my playstyle). The extra breaking and vaulting speeds can be very good in chases (obviously not as good as dedicated perks for either, but Fire Up does both so it's still a lot of value in a single perk), especially thanks to Clown's slows. The extra pickup speed also just messes with flashlight saves, sometimes to the point that it also fills in as a free Lightborn. All the small time saves also help keep up pressure, which is a central point for my build (always carry people TOWARDS the action with Agitation, while Distressing + Coulrophobia prevent efficient healing). When it works the survivors can't really do gens because they're too busy healing (as they either try to power through Coulro or run far enough to not get affected), and if they don't heal they're wounded against the Clown. Fire Up helps again here if they start desperately slamming pallets. In a way it's like the Plague, but with an actually consistent chase power instead of the occasional red puke. The yellow bottles only add up to it with map coverage/pressure/chasing.

My best friend is a really good Trapper main. His buff recommendation is that trapper can carry 3 traps at one time, and can pick up/place traps faster. The downside to this is that carrying multiple traps makes picking up and placing traps slower. This means you can stock up on traps early on, and be rewarded for making a good early game setup, then more easily pick up and place traps one at a time when moving around the map. Overall, holding one trap makes the speed very fast (1.5x), two makes it mildly faster (1.1x), and three makes it worse than what we have now (0.7x). It's not a big buff, but adds a lot more depth to the gameplay in a way that makes sense.

It's always cool when Devs listen to the players and it works out, but it took them so long to nerf Dead Hard. It almost feels like they are scared to make big changes that force players to play differently.

Yeah, I get what you're saying and you're absolutely right. Ever since release I was a killer main and with each game I was starting to hate survivors more and more. Years of teabagging, flashlights and SWFs made me think that every survivor is a toxic a-hole and none of them deserve a hatch, mercy or a "gg" in the endgame chat. I never ran broken builds just to bully everyone, but rather kill each one by any means possible. Only recently I've decided to actually try out some matches as a survivor and I was surprised to see how a lot of my teammates were actually very respectful and played fair, while the killer was the most toxic one in the game. I faced with: bully builds, actual campers, trolls, sluggers, Ghostace teabaggers and so on. It made me realise just how much every side in DbD has to face with bad people, which creates a snowball effect. So next time I'll play a killer I'll definitely play it differently than in the past. So the conclusion is that to make the DbD comminity respect one another each player has to play the opposing side from time to time.

Now we have the answer. Just play Pyramid Head - the best tunneler, with gen kicking build. Yeah we gonna tunnel and give them incapacitated at same time.

It might be a bit oppressive with a late game build as a strong 110 killer like huntress. Especially if you have no way out and slug a few survivors. Huntress as a 115 killer seems a bit good, even if all the gens have been done. And don't even get me started on the potential of combining it with no ed

I don't think there's room to use a superior playstyle on good survivors. If that ever is the case, they've pretty much given it to you. What Otz pushes, bless his heart, is this anime protagonist mindset that if you just work hard enough, are skilled enough, and have enough game knowledge, you can beat any team. But that's wrong, and we've seen it time and time again. You can respect DS and not tunnel, or you can just eat it, but either way you're now at a disadvantage, even more so than you were in the beginning. There's many things survivors have that work like that, where the killer doesn't really gain in momentum at any point. I've won far more matches than I should have because I took advantage of survivors being altruistic. If it weren't for those cases, and general inefficiency from the survivors, I'd probably never win, not with the low tiers I play as.

@@cebug4238 I get where you are coming from when it comes her being the strongest killer in dbd but in regards to that she shouldn't be in dbd the argument still stands imo as the strongest because every other flaw that nurse has - too much uptime on her ability, too strong addons, easy proxy camping, etc. - spill over towards her ignoring basic gameplay mechanics. Sure you could make it so e.g. her charges don't refresh until after she has recuperated from a miss/hit - giving more time for survivors to make distance and prolong the chase but at least from a gameplay kind of perspective it is her ignoring 'general survivor gameplay' mechanics in dbd like pallets / loops / windows which is imo the biggest problem with nurse. You just have two different kind of games; where one is playing vs Nurse where windows / pallets / loops are mostly useless and you just go for line of sight and hold 'w' and the other is playing vs every other killer. Sure other killers have anti-loop abilities aswell but you can counteract them to some extent. But with nurse you can just mindgame and hope that the skill of the nurse player isn't too high and they therefore miss their blinks which just feels very unrewarding imo.

Or just not play vs a nurse. If no one plays VS nurses so they don't get any chases or anything, IE the games are super unfun for them, we'll see less and less nurses. Its obvious behavior isn't going to change them.

I've heard people be super against "permanent" killer stuff. It's a weird argument that you don't hear often because killer has like nothing that is permanent. What I saw was someone saying, "Wesker's maximum infection should be changed. Survivors shouldn't be permanently Hindered." After how many cures? Like a dozen? C'mon, man!

To be fair, if they are not t-bagging, it's usually just bloodpoint farming for both sides, nothing more, at least as I know it from people who taught me DBD (and yes, I'm killer only player). Just a little bit of respect. Nothing wrong with it, at least when I'm playing killer. But yeah, if they are t-bagging - it's a whole different story...

Homie hits aren't BM. They're just free BP. Teagbagging at the end should expose survivors and block the exit gates though :^)
