I've accepted the fact that at this point we have been QA Beta testing the October release of NW: Aeternum. Its pretty much allowed me to keep playing - in addition to there being no monthly subscription. Im hoping that the coming Q&A has all the answers that the current player base needs to hear - their track record says it wont.
I have a theory they don’t have creative freedom. Or their game is so broken they have to constantly allocate resources to fixing it which means less content >.

Console announcement is honestly great. They just overhyped the announcement. That's why people are disappointed. NW is still fun for me so I will keep playing for now.
Mmos are ment to be played with friends! Want to play by yourself do it... stop asking for it so it ruins the game it's made as a multiplayer game. There are single player games go play them.
this is how most mmos are now, they're basically glorified chatrooms. the main mmo audience are aging millennials and they are too busy changing diapers and paying mortages. the few tiktok zoomers that play mmos have their brains fried from so much dopamine and just wouldn't have the patience to play mmos with social aspects required to progress. turning mmos into more single player friendly games makes them more accessible to a post social media audience. you just log in and play, no need to wait for other people.
