13th May, 2023. The Los Angeles Dodgers, who are a baseball team, played the San Diego Exorcists, who are another Baseball team, from just up the street.
I'd been to a baseball game once before, in Texas, where the St Louis Cardinals (what's with all these religious names?) played the Houston Cheating Motherfuckers.
Unfortunately, I'd forgotten how utterly, crushingly boring baseball is as a sport. It's like cricket, played in slow-motion. And cricket isn't exactly what you'd call 'dynamic', to begin with. Adding to that, they actually have commercial fucking breaks AT A LIVE SPORTING EVENT, and this little asides with audience participation events that are kind of like the mini-games in Mario Party, but not the good Mario Party games on Nintendo 64, but that really shit one that came out on Switch.
Also, $11 for a fucking Fanta???
