This spot always always always has gold high water low water doesn't matter even with all the people I've invited down that go regularly it still has gold for me when I stop by.

I had plans to only dig the east this summer but my work load was and is insane 😳 so I missed alot of nice days and fall is already creeping in ! So I figured why not go to Cali in the summer for once !

90% of them have 99% gold ✨️ because most won't mess around between them , I will to a certain point and only from particular areas in them the wrong rock taken out can create the movement that could either pin you or kill you both are basically death sentences. You get pinned by a 60 ton Boulder there isn't anything they can get down a Canyon to get you out besides dynamite. I have that feeling , I stay out or don't dig much. I was just out the other day riding bedrock on channel and ended up finding a drift it didn't look rite and I backed off even though it definitely would have paid to go in

I have taken almost 300 grams from this spot lol I've sluiced many times my best day was 14 grams ! I love this spot 😍. I haven't sniped much in California only maybe 4 times since 2018 I'm always out in winter this is my first trip in summer. I lived on the road for 3 years back and forth but always left in spring. I did do some sniping this trip on another river but didn't find anything. I do well sniping back east though in the water and walking with the scope
