Altering or changing creeks and river beds etc.. can get you a hefty fine if not careful or know better. Even in many states if its a federal waterway or in protected land and city, county, or state parks. Gold panning is regulated in many places now to where and how you can pan and extract, know the law, or you could lose your findings and get fined to boot.
@@ericswain4177 not 1 state you are getting in trouble for moving rocks. Altering waterways is ( diverting / or damming ) that does not include moving rocks......TOO THE ROADSIDE BANK!!!! IN FACT THATS EXACTLY WHAT EVERY TOWN / CITY does in almost every state. Thank you for your concern but I am not concerned especially when excavators are literally In this exact creek every fall & spring removing gravel from the stream and bordering the edge with boulders. FYI I'd be In more "trouble" if I had taken a load of rocks and dumped them over the edge of the bank. That is considered altering banks not pulling materials already in said water to the edge
@@GramCanyonSam Most of this is rarely enforced or in areas where park rangers etc... are nearby or patrol due to too many instances occurring. But ha You take your chances.
@@ericswain4177 if you were stopping by my comments to point out things possibly "not to code or law " you have hundreds of videos to go through 🎉 but I hate to burst your bubble this is not illegal not for nothing it couldn't have been done more out in the open I saw the sheriff & water board drive by twice & on top of that there's plenty of (out of state landowners) that do not like mining that take any chance they can get to call the law . They sometimes come by ..... never have I or anyone else had to pack up and leave or stop what we are doing. In fact the local community has always supported and will continue to. None of our crew does anything to harm the area and do our part to protect and maintain land allowed to us. If we gold miners were an issue I highly doubt private land owners would grant access to work said lands. 😉
@@michaelburbank2276 all types of bedrock to work I'm heading back Saturday with the correct tools. I found 2 one plus gram nuggets up about 50 feet of here before the flood and there's 75% more exposed after the hurricane came through.
That was for my buddy down the road at his property building the bank back up. But up the hollow a bit where the last few videos were filmed that hole has been dipped in a few times. Ziggy was up there with me pulling the first few out and I've been moving up creek on the bedrock pulling out the big ones. And moving a heck of a lot of rock in general between nick and myself we created a swimming hole already. I ended up somewhat knowing the people that were up there and they were gone when I got back up there after lunch. Then the next morning showed up and we dug around but I was back in my hole lol
@@briankenison7995 we are moving dump trucks by shovel every season lol imagine if you , Nick and myself got shovels moving 😄 there would be very little left. We are digging up the narrow section now if us 3 line up we could clear the whole stretch. Bedrock is exposed it's easy working once the boulders are out.
Guess there's hematite in your creek then and if it's black and not magnetic and not hematite than it could be a multitude of different minerals all depends on where you are working. Some rivers in California there's straight magnetite others many minerals. In the northeast there's mag / hem/ garnet / iron conglomerate, down in NC there's basically blonde sand.
Listen if you tell me where that Brooke is if I find it I will tell you a secret that you you won't won't believe 😊 I want to go to that area on Monday I have something that happened to me and my buddy the other day that will blow your f****** mind
Hey lance this was up in bernardston on couch brook but there's many creeks around that area that will have gold but stay from Adamsville to Bernardston that's within the bedrock gold trend that runs into Vermont. Much better gold over in VT head to Buffalo brook or broad or something in bridgewater / plymouth Woodstock
Lil lost unspoken motherlode up here in the northeast. Easy beautiful very pure gold. No hikes limited on restrictions and a fraction of prospectors out this way compared to the "motherlode" it's almost as easy to gain gold weight here as there when you factor in all the added efforts that go into mining California. You just won't find 1oz pcs here but there is ¼ and half Oz nuggets found and there is lode gold but very tricky to locate and detect due to all the glacial movement and covering.
no I'm not wasting time you must have missed that part of the conversation. Sounds like you are wasting time hoping I explain what a winch is. I enjoy making videos not trying to make a gaggle of different people happy. That's when you either become fake or you get no gold.
@ninjamoves3642 when you stop seeing my uploads "clearly you're interested " then I'll be done making videos. I make them when I want when I want primarily when I'm out west. What My heart is not into is dealing with folks like yourself for absolutely no reason. I don't care enough about that part of youtube. You could have hit pause ⏸️ 25 seconds in and seen the winch but you choose to try and be my RU-vid therapist and tell me how I think when I don't Care what you or anyone else has to say , that's me always has been check back 250 videos ago.
Wow huge change in fines for sure that’s crazy… looked like a lot of fun except for the pouring rain lol thanks for sharing see you on the next one 👍🏼👊🏼
@@GramCanyonSam I’ve been watching many different videos of people who haven’t gotten it to work but I figured it out and tested them it works so good wouldn’t mind showing you in person or getting on a call sometime i just don’t like posting stuff on RU-vid about it if you understand. I met with 802outdoors once in Vermont he’s a great guy learn a lot from you both. If you want to send me an email for more info or to get my phone that’s cool I’d love to share the set up with you as I think you’ll get crazy results
Massachusetts has all types of prospects , there's good placer gold from the conn. River west and sporadic deposits all the way to cape cod and the islands. Revere Beach Falmouth Beach Mashpee. Boston itself Sits on gold blue hills obs. Has gold ore on display. I've mined more weight in gold from my home town than all my gold totaled to date! 1 3 7 21 miles off the coast there is caldera gold & silver deposits my local mine has great values for the area. If you guys drive south head over to the "Satan's kingdom area" on the east side of the conn. Or head west to Bernardston , Colerain, Adamsville area the nh gold trend runs on the east down to the quabin res and Vermont trend runs into mass around adamsville
