i hope more people would realize buying accounts is actually a scam and chances of buying accounts with whale characters are more likely will be recover by the original owner... im still seriously baffled how this buyers think its a good idea too just buy accounts, if you had that much money just start the game and whale on the current banner lol
well, I'm pretty sure in-game footage isn't very good evidence... things like registration date, username(something the hacker can't uncensor, I presume), (and in case if they were changed) the previous email and password. I got lucky because the hacker didn't unlink the google, so I was able to see what my hacker did on my account, but I couldn't change anything without verification from the new email.
@@TitanJK008 yes! you can list the dates and the time you got a constellation of a character as well, since those cannot be accessed by the hacker/seller/buyer, unlike the time(s) you got a character for the first time. hope this helps everyone!
@@talhasimsek4865 you'll have to list it down yourself ! hyv can see when you got a character/their cons, but the hacker can't, except if they open your wish history that records your pulls for the past 6 months. that's why the dates can be proof to hyv that you're the owner of the account. it's important to list down the dates you got character constellations as much as possible! the hacker/s can't see your wish history for more than 6 months, so it'll be great if you listed the dates of when you got those cons in the past
Genshin's customer support is the worst one so far. If it was some other company like Steam etc. they would recover your account in 45 minutes. Some people waited 6 months or over to recover their account, no matter how accurate their info is. Step up your customer service game Genshin.
i know someone who had their form rejected 13 times and they provided accurate information every single time but got accepted through recovery form after providing the same information they provided on hacked form.

omg i felt this. my account got hacked on 24th August. Imagine having a tiring day at work and you come home, decide to play some genshin to chill and realise you cannot login anymore. I was slumped ofc and had no idea what to do. my friend asked me to email support CS which I did but personally, I felt like 20 days was such a long time to recover an account. Ofc, i couldnt do anything and decided to wait patiently, until someone told me about recovery form. Apparently getting this form is difficult since it is for those who have lost access to their account but are not hacked. luckily on aug 30 i managed to get the recovery form and filled it and sent it to hoyoverse and 2 days back they retrieved my account. Then on the 16th working day I got a reply from my hacked account as well that it has been accepted lmao. I really hope they tighten their security a bit and at the same time, we as players should also follow cyber safety while browsing the internet.
@@ragiura5715 you will need a new UID to get the account recovery form. you can ask a friend to help you or you can create a new genshin account, get it ar5+ and then send them an email saying you forgot your login credentials. they will ask you 6 questions and you reply them with 1. your new UID/or your friend's UID 2. (leave blank) 3. (leave blank) 4. (leave blank) 5. just say you don't really remember 6. I cannot login my account using the current credentials they'll reply with a "do you recognise this email', just say "yes i do but i do not have access to the same anymore." edit: i managed to get my account back in 2 days through recovery form and with hacked form, they replied back in 16 working days (doesn't include Saturday and sunday), 26 normal days. also there's a higher chance of acceptance with recovery form than with hacked form and both are handled by separate teams
My account got hacked Mrs yesterday I just found out today and they deleted all my 5 star weapons and used all my wishes on the standard banner to I changed my password but I just sent hoyoverse a email hopefully I can get some sort of compensation 🥺☹️😖
It's funny when you fill the format and at the questions like " Last time you logged in or Date you creates your account " . If your email was breached the hacker usually delete those emails , so probably you don't remember those dates . When you fill the form to get your account back they will literally blast you with " We could not verify that you own the account " just cause you don't remember a date , when you give the most crucial info that clearly show you the owner of the account . Like IP addresses , pc info , original emails , phone etc . Man Mihoyo support is bad for real . I wish everyone that will get their account back and hope they will land to a cool MiHoyo support stuff member to help them .

I got my account hacked im sad i cant wish for nahida but the person who bought my account wished for nahida and built her almost with perfect stats. I feel bad for that person who got scammed by the hackers. And he took good care of my characters and weapons and even improved my previous builds.
Took me 42 days in total, but yeah don't get discouraged guys. If you give a lot of detailed info your account will have a really big chance to be recovered.

Don't trust ANYONE who will ask even if it's just an email guys. I have lost my account om December 4th and the css support is not even letting me retreive it back, even with all the accurate information. But I was lucky enough to get it back because the one who bought my account is kind enough to let me buy it back and they didn't touch anything in my account. Got it back on January 4th without the help of css support of hoyoverse. Please don't trust anyone with your account. Be cautious if you want someone to handle it and make sure that it's linked with a lot of your socials for more security
My account got hacked. I stopped playing in update 2.6. but when i try to log in into my account a week ago i couldn't. Email of my account was changed phone number was removed. I was asked to fill the same form. I filled it. They say it'll take 10-20 days. So I'm waiting. I'm not a whale player. Just low spender. But i spent a lot of time on that account. I hope they recover it soon
me too actually...i just got back my account like 2 hours ago...but upon checking...the hacker (or shud i say the guy who bought my acct from the hacker) still has his twitter and game center acct linked into mine.. i have submitted a request to the cs so that they unlink those 3rd party acct from mine....hopefully i got the reply soon

atleast the account still recovered, but it will tooks a months, if they work faster it should less 30d , my other friend experienced this and it took 50d before recovered

My account just got hacked this 13th of August😭😭😭. I even found hacker activity right away because that time I still could login to Genshin Impact redemption codes website, and then when I redeemed more codes from the livestream, I couldn’t access it anymore. I found it out right away that someone hacked into my email and I found activity of them signing in there. It was also in Russia, so I assume this person might be Russian as well 😭. I am only F2P, and playing the game for 8 months was seriously hard work, considering how difficult it was to level up characters and earn primos, and farm materials. I contacted Hoyoverse email customer service right away but since it is 20 days, I am so afraid and am grieving about my account now.😭 I don’t know what will happen in the next few days or weeks
I couldn't gain access to my own account recently as well, and honestly idk how it happened, and I'm kinda scared hoyoverse won't believe me. It's only been 3 days since i filled the account got hacked form, and the fact that I'm also a F2P player worries me that my appeal would get rejected. But I've watched a vid about someone getting hacked and they send cs hoyo some dates of when they got a specific character and even their constellations, and it worked for them! Plus, you can even send a vid of you levelling up artifacts or playing the game, and that should help too if you haven't already. If you get rejected, you can try again and send another form, best of luck to you!

It’s been a week and 2 days for me now, and I already sent a 2nd email to Mihoyo regarding additional info and corrections about the form I sent last week, which then includes dates of when I got some 5-star and 4-star characters, and their corresponding constellations as well. I remembered about the dates because I always recorded myself pulling for characters every time, and I am so aware of my consistent habit and time of pulling whenever I am prepared for another banner. Yes, it is actually true that some people whose forms were rejected at least 3 times and got accepted the 4th time only filled the same info all throughout, which means there might be inconsistencies in recovering the accounts based on the time you sent the forms and the people assigned to your account. I pray that both our accounts will be recovered somehow quicker than 20 working days (but seems unlikely) because the hackers don’t deserve playing what we worked hard for as F2P. It is just too painful😭❤️. May God bless you, sir!

So recently a lot of genshin account got hacked including my boyfriend's. Someone hacked his mail, instagram and some other apps but only genshin mail and password was changed. Now someone is playing on it. I don't know if it's a hacker or someone who bought the account. He spend 2 years playing on it, he has so much good units on it. Im really sad and angry about it. Hoyo should really do something about this. Also he can't remember the date he first started playing. If someone knows how we can check this please help.
Has he ever made any purchases? If he ever gains access to his account again make sure to take screenshots of almost everything, especially purchases and emails from hoyoverse so they know it’s him. If you check Amber’s character menu it should say the date she arrived, that will most likely be the day your boyfriend started playing genshin impact. Make sure to list the device he created the account on and any big events such as first five star. Be VERY SPECIFIC. If you have screenshots already, use them.

Have you ever take a screenshot when you were in game?, check your genshin game folder and look for screenshots, at the bottom left or right...you can find your UID
