@@user-fw1jl4dd9x you need to contact hoyoverse. And provide every bit of info. Your first purchase, your acc username. Your email. Your last purchase as well as your devices you use. It takes around 1 year to get it back . Bitter experience

I've spent on Genshin, yes, around a thousand. The first purchase is what Hoyoverse requires you to give. I don't know about the chargeback though, it certainly wasn't my fault. Therefore, I cannot really be hold accountable on something that had nothing to do with me. Interesting take on the ingame name, tho!

Send your email to Hoyoverse! It may take a few tries before you get it back

making the gmail permanently attached like that could also cause problems, like if you lost your gmail and that leads to you losing your genshin account the same way you’d lose it if you were hacked. The better option is to improve security checks instead of restricting things like that

I left during2022 then I stopped getting emails at 2022 also then when I used Wonka it said player not found and with my hoyoverse acc the genshin stuff dissapered and when I tried logging in the same thing happens I think I got hacked cuz good UID (831166699)

I got my account hacked too it was in the morning today I created new account and raised a request they replied me fast and sent a account application form i provided everything I know and I told them I can still provide so much info about my account since I'm the real owner they said it'll take 10 days i don't know what will happen hope we get our accounts back also what's your status? EDIT:- Tbh I got my account back in less than 2 days i added so many details screenshots every day to my ticket so I got It back very fast and i hope this comment is helpful

It's definitely avoidable, just have your account on 2FA then don't let other people in your account unless they're trusted.

Never buy Genshin accounts I guess, especially at sketchy sites.

They did not, but even so, they should ask for refund from the one who sold it to them and not me.

Specific dates or interactions, first purchase, validity of my identity.

Keep emailing them, do not stop. Then, know when your first and last log in was, know when your first purchase was. Then dig more information about your account, I think that telling hoyo the date of when you got this certain character will further prove that.

Still, you should definitely try, because it didn't work on me on my first try too, some had worse. Keep emailing them and provide more information. Also, if you remember who the first character you had on friendship 10, your first 5star, first 4star, first 5star weapon, first dates of your arrival on the nations, these things will verify that it is indeed your account.

@@VerycoolSlimJimmy no, I was unable to get my account back and the hacker sold it to some Indonesian who, even though I've explained that it was a stolen account, will not give it back because "they bought it".

I will decline to go deeper into defails, but the best way to describe it is maybe a scam-to-hack approach? It could be from a trusted person, but scammed it away and hacked it by changing the information to remove my access on the account, or one of those fps booster bs that some people also fell for. As far as I know, your UID shown should be safe, as even famous genshin content creators have their UID exposed but aren't getting hacked.

Oh, the one who used my account wasn't the one who hacked it. The hacker sold it to someone and this person whaled. Also, Genshin requires you the first purchase, something only I have access to.
