The FN P90 is the perfect platform for Hyper rounds: high capacity horizontal loaded stick mag, full auto, low profile shell. I know Rival did it 10 years ago but even Hyper would be better than...this.

The ballistics hyper rounds are so bad tho, even worse than rival. And the main advantage of rival, hoppers, don’t work as well in hyper

This REALLY should have been a Rival blaster. It would have made way more sense and the proportions would have been less atrocious. Could have used an accurate loading mechanism and stayed bullpup too.

There is the "Infantry Rifle" from fortnite so they could make it but I personally wouldn't look to Nerf for that :/

That front being so tall makes this look more like a FAMAS with a huge carrying handle than a P90. As others have pointed out this should have used rival/hyper or even just had normal mags in the top.

Gonna be honest. An internal mag flywheeler is a neat concept. Had Hasbro made that concept yet made it the size of a stryfe, it would've been reasonable. But instead, they made this thing far too big. Probably gonna pass on this

So you can't enjoy something that looks cartoonish? It can't look exactly like a P90 or else people will think it's a firearm. Some creative liberties have to be made, also, I'm pretty sure that the P90 is copyrighted and you can't just blatantly rip off a design

I bought this blaster and I found out that underneath the tactical rail is where Nerf tried to install a magazine chamber and they failed. I think if you have a straight magazine,cut off the side stops,take out the internal magazine,leave the locks on and you can have this blaster fire with detachable magazines

Damn, this blaster is one massive “why have you done this?” And that’s me keeping it clean. Come on hasbro, if you’re going to make a P90, at least finally start making use of half length darts (or use hyper rounds) and use a somewhat accurate magazine.

I assume when he says internal magazine flywheeler, he means with darts. When he mentioned the Charger, I realized that is basically what that is for rival rounds. Someone confirm this thought for me please.

Gonna be real, did not know this existed and was actually kinda excited when I saw the thumbnail, but the internal mag was a definite no. I would have loved if Nerf had created the gimmick of the actual p90 and done a horizontal mag from the back.

The nerf rival chargers a way better P90 as the internal magazine is in the right spot (although the actual p90 has a regular magazine) also the trigger is in the spot of an actual p90 and it just looks better

Kind of surprised you didn’t talk about the community created P90 blaster whose name I can’t remember but you totally did I video on…I’d also love to see this side by side compared w/the Zeus & the Charger size wise as I feel those are closest Hasbro has gotten to in terms of functionality (but I’m rambling). The p90 is my favorite gun of all time. I like smgs, I like bullpups, the p90 has all of that. But the nerf equivalent is a disgrace. It should have been a rival/hyper hopper system and should have been full auto.

They are on sale at Target for $18. I got two (one for foam flinging and to donate to a charity auction). It isn't too bad (not a good as my Cassian Andor blaster rifle but it will do the job).

Every day i attempt to check Nerf stocks (financial stocks) to see them fall but i literally cannot even find them. I have a small suspicion that hasbruh uses money from their other toylines and puts some of it into nerf.

Inb4 Adventure Force/Dart Zone schools these fools with a top-inserted half-dart mag in a flywheel blaster that utilizes a similar form-factor to the Conquest Pro. Heck, even have the top-inserted horizontal half-dart mag seat into a mag-well near the back rather than the front so they could go with a true-to-life style P90 feed system.

If someone were to ask me "What's your favorite real life gun?" I would say either the Desert Eagle, or "That one gun from Stargate SG-1". Mainly because I didn't know the name of it back when I watched it with my parents. and if they ever did mention it, My child brain didn't notice it, and was far more focused on the "flashy water wormhole ring". And this design just feels completely disrespectful to it.

Its fortnite, so that automatically is a 25% price increase. The real question is why isn't this rival? They made a top loading mag shotgun, rear loading semi auto smg already, and several hopper fed blasters and both those options are absolutely viable for this shell. But instead they went with a gimmicky barricade. An internal mag fly wheeler can have a role, and be stryfe sized, the problem is that its hard to get around the fact this is a waste of potential and plastic. Somewhere out there Jack O'Neill is shaking his head in disappointment.

It's because of the line markets. They know themselves that Fortnite branding is bound to attract younger kids, and licensed blasters *very rarely* go into Rival territory. Only one they fully went in on was Overwatch, and that's because of that game's market being more teenagers-adults. Yeah, it sucks this turned out this way, but it isn't like they were just consciously making the worst thing ever. They have a market to work with.

As far as having a fly-wheeler I can scavenge with, I think I'll stick with my Incisor. Hard to beat a 20 round cylinder you can top up on the fly, in terms of firing elite darts. Though I will say it's a little on the bulky side for my taste.
