I would agree the 120 is better on the amx m4 51 but on the 54 the 130 is still just better imo, with the 120 you are just still significantly worse than the sconq and the alpha is just such a significant advantage to have (personally one of my favorite alphas in the game). Also the pen really isnt that big of a problem if you fire gold bc of normalization.
The only problem with the 120mm at tier 10 is that the tank is just a worse Super Conqueror. When WG rebalanced the tier10 AMX they really should have at least increase the penetration especialy on the gold rounds.
It is strange cause the 120 is the supposed sniper gun of the two. Especially if you compare the accuracy overall with the other heavies. But out of nowhere they also nerfed the shell velocity.
The problem with the M4-54 was always just its geometry compared to the M4-51. The lower plate is significantly larger and more exposed on the M4-54, where its nearly impossible to hit on the M4-51. That was the biggest issue i had with the tank while playing it Still my favorite line of tanks tho
yeah QB is really quite wrong about the 120vs130, in today's WoT the 130mm and increased alpha is by far superior. People don't just let you trade 2for1
Riiiiight, right, soooo good. So good my ass QB, I play this tank a lot, and let me tell you, the lower plate is trash, the uper plate is half the armor of the tier 10 tank, the side armor is trash, the gun mantlet can be penetrated with high tier premium rounds, and the cupola is so big every one you face can hit it from over 100m, unless you are using ALL of the 10 degrees of gun depression, believe me, sometimes people will turn their turrets and snap shot the cupola. I will say the Conqueror is way better, or even the IS-3-II. The tank is not trash, don't get me wrong but it's not that good as QB says it is. It's just good, not the best, just good.
I personally like the 127mm more than the 120. Yeah the 120 has better pen, dpm, etc but that alpha on the 127 is just tasty and it has come in clutch for me multiple times.
I must admit to getting a tad pissed off with CCs always showing battles at the lower end of the matchmaking scale, when we humble mortals almost constantly go into tier 10 battles.
Emil 2 is incredible inaccurate after the nervs, m103 you are not serious are you and concept is a reward, meaning it will always have better wr, but the armor is actually not that good. It is the best techtree tank for sure

It's a great tank with a great gun so obviously people will perform well in it, much like the Tortoise or Cobra. Its other statistics are also good with good armor so it has the whole package. There are other tanks that gets a great stock gun but doesn't perform as well

Best tier 9? Then explain why I struggled so fucking hard with this giant french turd? Shit gun handling, huge profile, "armor" that isnt reliable (whatsoever especially with all the gold spammers on NA), all it really has is mobility and if I wanted that with ACTUAL semi reliable armor and decent gun, I'll go freaking play the T-10. This tank is trash, at least for me. Then again, all the French tanks have been trash for me.
But there is one big problem. Nobody needs Tier IX because of zero benefits. Put Tier X Tank into the game do some damage and earn bonds. Why should ill play Tier IX? Tier VIII generates credits, Tier X bonds, Tier V daily missions, whats the point of tier ix?

The situation in the EU server is out of hand literally, combined with the worst matchmaking in the history of any computer mmo game, we lose on average 6 games in order to win 1....enough with excuses for real.....WG is one of the worst Companies for accepting third party programs ruining the game.
Yeah only the CC's get tier 7 MM. And you also don't have the right to brag about best games when this is the case. Quite pathetic to even mention it, especcially from a CC.
No T7 should face a T9 tank. It is not fair, nor is it balanced. There has to be a big enough player base, that the MM should only be one tier difference, or even. Blitz does it, so the PC should be able too. Nothing more demoralizing, then to go against tanks you have no chance to pen even with gold reliably.
Every single time I think "maybe I'll fire up my old account and play", I watch some of these videos, and remember how miserable and effed up wargaming has made the game.
I have no idea why you would possibly think the small gun on the amx's are the best option. You don't lose dpm on the tier 10, and you literally only lose less than 100 dpm on the tier 9 with barely worse stats. i think you are fooling yourself into thinking the small guns are better, cus i can tell you they aren't. And if you use the small guns on those tanks, you become worse in every way than the conquerors. Literally the stupidest notion to think the small guns are that much better but hey, the more idiots that use the small gun the better for me lol.

I felt so much worse when I got the Jageroo, I gave it a chance and played a few battles, after that I went back to the Jagdtiger to restore my mental health ✅
The problem with videos like this is that an average player never meets tier7 adverseries with an mm like this. When there are only 3 top tier tanks and u r one of them against tier 7 , its not a real game experience what we see here.
It's a same situation with German TD's. WT auf Pz.IV is so good at tier IX but Grille 15 is very dissapointing. Worse DPM, premium pen, gun handling, cammo and it doesn't have fully rotatable turret as well. I can't stand Grille and dispersion valeus are worse than FV4005 and KV-2 and pen is bad as well but WT auf Pz.IV has amazing gun handling and Borsig at tier VIII is also better than Grille in every way exept speed and gun depresion
Sorry to say QB, but on AMX 54, the upgraded gun is far much better than the stock 120mm. 120mm on 54 can really shine in certain scenario, meaning it's completely situational. But for 51, indeed 120mm is the only way to play. C'mon~ don't be misleading.
These french tanks are just worse version of conqueror and super conqueror, in the conquerors at least you can hulll down more and has spaced armor ( bouncing jg pz e 100 is amazing ) and you also has the better gun, it has less oenetration? Yeah but you have 120 HESH which sometimes can eat medium tanks like kunze panzer and bc char futur etc

I don't know, I enjoy playong Tier 9 and have some favorites on that tier, where I can get 50-55% winrate. But somehow this one was a struggle for me, can't wrap my head around it why
I prefer tier 9 a loot more than tier 10 in my opnion its the best tier, you only see 1 tier above you, you can fight 2 tiers below you and you dont lose that kuch credits neither you get mad because of gold spammers, ngl i hate tier 10.
For some reason, I still vastly prefer playing the E75 to the M4 51. I think it might be because the E75 is really good at side scraping, which the M4 51 sucks at.
I mean if you hold the lock bouton you can block the turret and take the opportunity to look whats ariund you . Also if you dont look around while you not engaged in a trade you might miss an infos that will strike you in the but later trust me it happen to me often😅😅😅
The tier 10 amx m4 54 is in a pretty good place right now, and disagree that the stock gun on it is better. Its arguable but with the 130mm gun you get the same dpm but trade turret dispersion and accuracy for 160 alpha. The t10 is still a consistsnt performer and the 3 mark requirments are above tanks like the 50b and e5
I've got the T95, and I'm not buying the T110E3. I'm almost to the Tortoise, but I don't intend to get the Badger, a plan developed watching your videos. I'm still (! after eleven years) unlocking and buying tier 10's, but someday if both the game and I last long enough I'll get around to picking the E-50 and E-75 back up.
The UFP of the 51 is actually pretty weak against gold rounds unless you have the high ground whereas the 54's UFP is nearly goldproof on even grounds. I prefer the 127mm cannon, because the gold round is AP, which has better normalization than APCR would have. It means it is not just slightly better to outmatch armor, but also has better chance not to auto bounce on weird angles.
