They produce the rum in a town called by the same name, and it's aged in quetzaltenango. Do to the dry hot weather in zacapa. In qietzaltenango they have this aging warehouse at 7000+ mts. Above sea level to make the aging process better.
Fun review - I also love this rum. I spent four months in Guatemala on an dig for my archeology major. Ron Zacapa was hailed as one of the country’s best exports. Another one to try is Ron Botran - I believe the producer is the same that owns Zacapa. Cheers gentlemen!

It really surprised me. Like I said in the video, my previous rum experiences were all the cheaper lower end products and I just didn't care much for them. This had a nice complexity that made me want to sit down and really enjoy it. Thanks for your comments.
