I really like the look. Star Wars Empire feeling. Plus the new utilities a major plus. New secondaries are greatly needed for utility and diversifying the load outs. I like the new primary weapons... However, I will say I rather get some new support weapons or Stratagems. Just one example a plasma laser ball strike that does massive point damage, large radius splash, and a lock down component that will stun lock anything in the out radius by 5 or so seconds, cool down similar to rail cannon because it is the better replacement. Let them keep cooking on the primaries we have. Boosting I mean not nerfing.... the game feels better now than it ever has and I do not want to go back to a grindy boring war sim that it had become.
I can tell you one thing, us Chaosdivers are MORE than happy. We are all planning on rocking this into battle. Vera Libertas, my Brothers and Sisters! We will uncover the TRUTH of Super Earth's corruption and LIES while wearing the Whistle-blower cape with pride!
Guess im the only one shrugging at this pile of disappointment. All im seeing from this community is the grand message of "idc if the weapons and boosters are good, i just wanna peacock." And this community wants to blame AH for not focusing on gameplay quality when none of you do.
Unflinching passive? Throw that on a heavy set and it “should” be able to just keep walking forward like General Brasch in a sea of blaster fire. “Don’t sweat it soldier! Bullets do NOT go through cover!” I am the cover!
I understand why people think it looks like a Sith trooper and I agree with it… but only for the armor itself, the helmet looks more like Palpatine’s royal guards imo

I see one problem with the dead sprint booster. If people aren't aware that it is a thing, and someone takes it on the squad, there's a strong possibility of people accidentally running themselves to death.
We won’t know how big a problem it will be until we see how much HP it actually costs. But Yeah, looking forward to the clips of people running themselves to death already

The Ministry of Truth has dispatched some Helldivers to speak with you; you'll recognize them by their fully red armor and they should have an officer in white with them. Worry not, if you are innocent of thought crimes you will not be made to face the wall.
Feels like an interesting play. Like they do the colors and style that the Chaos Divers would want, and then wrap it around the theme and names that would utterly turn them off to the ideals the Chaos Divers had with direct opposition. This very much feels planned and interesting as said.
Standing at "at ease" brother. it's a more relaxed version of parade rest, at least in U.S. Army. The main differentiation is "at ease" allows you to move your head, usually to follow the person who is speaking to a formation while "parade rest" insists you must keep your head and eyes to the front.

Yeah this Warbond wasn't "for" us, but they absolutely knew we'd love it, and they did intentionally put in a reference to us in the description, per their own words. Not saying how I know, but if you are a Chaosdiver, you know how I know.
This is the type of Warbond the game has been needing. 3 different weapons, awesome looking armors and a new armor passive that is actually usable in game. Not just one that reduces damages from that particular Warbond. It's about damn time Arrowhead!!!!!
You know what? It's really nice to be able to be enthusiastic about updates to this game again. It feels like ages since I was excited about new patches instead of apprehensive.
They already reverted those changes so... what's the problem? Both freedom's flame and chemical warfare kick ass. I use setups from both consistently on Super Helldive. Let's be real, though. The game is noticeably easier at lvl 10. Defense missions are snoozefests 90% of the time. Extracts are quiet far too often. The least of their worries is a slightly underpowered warbond... especially when most of our arsenal blows enemies away now.

This armour looks fantastic. Easily one of the best looking sets I've seen from these guys. It actually looks like it's designed by someone with fashion sense. The colour coding and coordination is awesome, especially on the white set. And a very strong passive, that competes with some of the other stronger ones. I wonder if that prevents ragdolling at all?

The new Booster sounds good. TF2 has lots of mechanics & items that let players trade health for a speed boost. They're always top-picks/ autoincludes. Also gives players a minigame of balancing health loss for speed gain. Good game design
Heh, whole ChaosDivers discord is so hyped for this warbound. Were finally getting proper dedicated cape and gear. It feels like Devs actually wanted to aknowledge Chaosdivers being a fairly big community that after the weapons got finally fixed did a complete 180 and instead of griefing, started larping/roleplaying as this "renegade" faction that considers Super Earth government completely corrupt while still being 100% loyal to humanity.
the booster sounds amazing, especially paired with the upgraded stim booster, though it could be a double edged sword if you don’t have any healing items
Yeah ngl this seems like a useless armor passive. If your getting shot enough for this to matter....well your dead more often than not. Not to mention the ragdolling.
See I was hoping for more weapons with interesting "Modes of fire." Helldivers has a nice system of attachments that allows you to change the gun on the fly. Scope zooms, lights on the gun, how you want to fire. All that. And only recently have they been getting more into these alt modes. Like how fast you fire on an AR. Or the different modes for the Recoilse and the Autocannon. They should lean more into this aspect they got, and hopefully this shotgun can be a step in the right direction.
Definitely see the Star Wars influence but also a little bit of chaos diver influence in there with the focus being on the truth, black and red colors, and the title logo looking similar as well
With plasma pistol now exist , plasma support weapon either cannon that rapid fire/charge fire or backpack but attaches the cannon in the shoulder like the predators and we can have plasma focus build
Now that the game mechanics are more or less figured out, here are some of my suggestions for the game. 1.) Armor Passives “Hold My Primary” allows players to forgo a primary weapon so they can carry two support weapons “Overkill” allows players to carry two primary weapons instead of a secondary “Fast Hands” faster reload time ----------- 2.) Strategems Plasma Minigun that fits on the forearm. It shreds everything, but makes it impossible to switch to your primary or secondary or throw Strategems Illuminate mind control device-allows you to turn hulks and chargers into rideable vehicles for a brief amount of time Mortar support weapon with a drone for spotting. Mortar has programmable ammo: HE, Napalm, Smoke ------------ 3.) Warbonds Firefly/Western Ponchos that look like capes. Lever action guns. Should coincide with a new law forcing farmers on the outer rim to raise horses. When the planet is evacuated, the horses are to remain behind. The purpose of this law is to provide SEAF with logistical support and Helldivers with transportation. The horses should be fast but have almost no hp. John Mad Maximus Helldiver Warbond When the Automatons took over the Creek, a single Helldiver stayed behind to harass enemy forces. Without resupply, this lone Helldiver had to take and adapt what he could from the enemy. This war bond will include enemy weapons like the marauder’s MG or a berserker’s chainsaw arm as a sword and armor sets that incorporate Terminid hides and Automaton parts. This warbond should drop with the inevitable inclusion of vehicles. ---------------- New Mission Types Vehicles should not be stratagems. They should be powerful battlefield pick ups. Getting them operational should be similar to the SEAF artillery side missions. You need to find fuel, ammo, and other key components to make the vehicle operational. Board the enemy ship Held divers are tasked with dropping on an enemy ship without strategies. They must capture key locations on the ship: engineering, the bridge, the armory, and the main hanger. If they capture engineering, they can turn off the artificial gravity or vent certain compartments into space. They can also overload the engines, creating a catastrophic failure or turn off the enemy ship’s weapons. If they capture the bridge, they will be able to do many of the same things. Once they entirely capture the ship or set the self-destruct, they will have to capture the hanger where pelican one will swoop in for their exfiltration.
I forgot to add this one: Advanced Primate Expeditionary Soldiers or “APES:” this stratagem allows you to call down a troop of three genetically modified chimps and one guerrilla gorilla. The gorilla carries a supply pack, a MG and an EAT. The chimps carry liberators. Super Earth is our home, but it’s not just our home. Humans are not the only stakeholders in the fight against tyranny; it’s time to get our primate cousins in the fight. These APES (I’m picturing just reskinned hunters) will either shoot their liberators and MG at the enemy, melee attack or just throw their poop at you or the enemy.
@@michaelgj23 i would love to see a stratgem thats a high powered long range laser/guass shotgun. I picture it having a tight spread of 10 or less bullets and the projectiles briefly leave the bullet streaks in the air.
I am loving the ammo type differences in guns. Just one step closer to getting the Lawbringer from Dredd. Hi-EX, Incendiary, Full Auto, Armor Piercing, Double-Whammy!!! Hell if they have voice I wouldn't mind it if you could change firing modes by voice.
I THOUGHT that the Reprimand looked familiar, and with the "slap reload" comment, I was sure. The design is probably based off the UMP 45, which was designed for American law enforcement to take the .45 ACP cartridge, which is *pretty heavy duty*. There's also a thing called the HK Slap, which is to do with reloading H&K weapons; that just makes me more sure! So an SMG for Law Enforcement.. that sounds like something the Ministry of Truth would issue, doesn't it?
Im still waiting on a steath theme warbound for like a agent for intelligence of helldivers if they want ideas they could use armors of inperal agent class from the star wars the old republic mmo

This is defitnely a bot centered warbond, kinda cool since the latest warbonds where bug centric. The only thing that makes me sad, its that theres another Shotgun to fully dominate the meta. The punishers are already the most reliable option on the bug front by far, specially those with incendiary ammo. Now that there will be an armor piercing + Stunt shotgun, this one will most likely be the to go option vs the bots. Hope some day the ARs get some love to be on par with the shotys
I love the designs for these armor sets but I’m also excited for the other two armor sets that drop in the store when the warbond goes live. I can’t wait to see wait they look like!
I want a plasma support weapon that is like a hybrid between the auto cannon and grenade launcher. In short, programmable ammo, shorter rate of fire, no reload and backpack required (it would be a hose literally going into the gun or something). The programmable ammo is two types. The first is similar to the nade launcher. The second modify the containment field so that it's a faster traveling shot that is heavy armor/anti tank that sticks on impact and detonates after like .5 seconds or so.
