Update for the Elf No Budge Shadow Sticks & Aquasurance Powder: The shadow sticks stayed on surprisingly well! They are a bit of a dryer formula but much easier to work with than the Covergirl Shadow Sticks. Pigment is not as intense as a Caviar Stick but also isn't lackluster. I find the finish on the bronze shade and magnetic pull shade to be a soft metallic/satin finish. The crystal color definitely has a higher shine finish - really similar to LM "Sugar Frost". The Aquasurance Powder was pretty impressive! Definitely the most impressive I have tried at the drugstore. I would definitely compare it to a MAC Studio Fix Powder! So far, it hasn't disappointed. It also stayed on my skin all day (generally don't have issues with powders coming off though).

Jcat has some pretty great cream shadows, too. One of these days you should try them in a video. They also have something similar to the Bodyography pigments.

I’ve been using LM’s Sandglow all over my lid and the elf crystal shade in my inner corner for about a month now and I have no complaints about it. It gets the job done and the combo goes together nicely. I’m going to have to check out that lip! It’s got a 90s vibe I like.

I picked up the Elf Shadow Stick in Magnetic Pull a couple of weeks ago and love it! I’ve got mature hooded lids and find that the slightly lower sheen works well for me. I haven’t tried it as a one and done yet - just on the mobile lid with LM Au Natural in the crease - but I’m going to give it a try now! I’ve also worn it on the mobile lid with shadows from the Colourpop taupe palette in the crease and liked that look as well. Btw - any idea if LM Cocoa is being discontinued? It’s on the last chance sale page on the LM website.

Not Shelbey obviously but I get eczema and dermatitis and just found from another RU-vid recommendation Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream from Amazon and it’s amazing! Totally cleared up my dermatitis that my prescription wasn’t clearing.

Eucerin for dry skin with 5%urea also helps my eczema on my face and put hello fab coconut skin smoothie priming moisturizer on top. And under these two I use Cerva moisturizer after I wash my face. These layers of moisturizers do the trick for my skin.

I have a suggestion. The Aveeno Baby Eczema Therapy Cream (or the balm if you need something extremely moisturizing that will create a barrier.) They have colloidal oatmeal, are very gentle and extremely hydrating.

Are you able to use exfoliants on your face? There's a RU-vidr called Lab Muffin Beauty Science (she's a chemist specializing in beauty) she's a big fan of Konjac Sponges. They're very gently exfoliating to use during cleansing. You should check out her channel.

I have that Milani blush in the same shade and it goes on beautifully on the cheeks but I feel like it doesn't remain that color for some reason. I also have the Honest Beauty Plum Berry which is somewhat similar in shade and I think I prefer it to the Milani. You do have to be a lot more careful with the Plum Berry because it's a much thicker formula but that is what makes it last longer I feel.

I love the Elf Shadow sticks. I use Bobbi Brown, which are amazing, but at $30 a pop, Ouch! The Elf sticks don’t replace my high end products but wow! Lots of bang for $5! Blendable long lasting color checks all the boxes. Not super pigmented, but the sheerness makes them mistake proof. Thanks for the demo-I learn every time I watch you apply your eye makeup!

@@1995missmuffin not totally - the ELF shade has a high gray undertone where as amethyst has a brown undertone and is a bit more wet/reflective. I’d compare the ELF color to the LM shade called “Grey Pearl”!

Does anybody remember the powder foundation from Palladio? I used to find it at Sally Beauty but not anymore. I’m 58 and have some fine lines, texture and other mature skin issues and it was the only decent powder foundation I’d ever used. I would love to know one that is comparable. 😊

Shelby what concealer would you recommend to use on my dry roscea cheeks? Bare minerals pro stick and mac studio were too full and heavy. I want to use the concealer with my tinted moisterizer. No foundation.

Thanks for another great video. I've been a silent subscriber for a long time. Anything you reccomend I always try and they always work. I have the same skin tone as you do so I know what shade to get. You have been spot on every time. One thing I have that you don't is seriously dark circles. I would like to make a request. Since you don't have dark circles, maybe you could have a client with dark circles and demo a step by step instruction with your favorite products and application techniques. I know you're nearing the end of your pregnancy but I thought I would put the idea out and see what you think. Keep on doing what you're doing. I will keep watching! What I don't understand that is why you don't have a billion subscribers. There are so many "beauty influencers" that do tutorials and GRWM videos but it's way too much. They wear so much makeup that while it looks ok on RU-vid, it looks AWFUL in person. I NEVER see ANYONE in person, in the real world, that, in public, doesn't look like a clown.
