42:31 I can imagine that in real life this battle would mark a turning point in Franco-English relations. In the hour when the English army was overwhelmingly outnumbered and about to lose, the French came in and defended their english brethren, turning the tide of the battle. I could see many English noblemen seeing the French in a much kinder light after this, as well as a seeming sense of kinship amongst the soldiers of both states.

that was beautiful cuz then english troops follow the french afterwards in routing the austrians. then a couple months later english troops save a couple thousand french again. absolutely beautiful

"The legacy of the Maiden" is a great mod that let's you start as Orlean, take over the france region and basically form the 'Sisters of battle' with Jeanne as their patron Saint. Btw that nation is effectively a crusader prussia with the French mission tree and no gov cap reduction. It's fucking awesome

Ah, the Angevin Empire. A state that would almost have existed if it werent for a few talented generals and a peasant girl. Still one of my favorite parts of history. Cool that they added temporary trees with this mod which add bonuses when you fulfill them. And remember Laith, AE is just a number and bankrupcy is just a concept 😄
