I am selfishly grateful that my son (2.5 years old) knows the precise moment to start throwing a fit to get me out of a family gathering lmao. Not obnoxious enough to be embarrassing but enough so i can be like "welp i guess its time for us to head home and nap" 😂💗

i’m selfishly thankful that my boyfriend chooses to pay the rent and all i have to do is buy us food, yes it adds up but he is allowing me to save some money since my parents never really gave me a chance for anything. it really shows me how much love he has for me

What I am selfishly thankful for is being able to buy a 17 year old car in great condition and very low mileage for at least $9000 less then what a dealer ship would have sold it for. A older woman had it and was at the point where she couldn't drive anymore. We talked and all she wanted was some extra spending money so I told her to set the price and what she was asking was way below what she could of got for it but she was okay with it and so was I. I bought the car 3 years ago around this time and it's still a great car. I drink whatever cocktail is being made at the moment we are eating. We are big day drinkers in my family and most of us are at least tipsy by the time we eat 😂

I don’t know if I already commented before about Crumbl Cookies but I agree with you. They are very good, but I had them once a few years ago and ate so much of them in one sitting that I still can’t think about them without wanting to throw up. They definitely seem like a special occasion kinda cookie, imo 🤷‍♀️

our walmart got the crumble cookies by accident and hordes of people bought them up and thank goodness i got a few boxes, and the company found out the driver made a huge no-no and sold them to walmart, walmart contacted everyone to bring them back, but of course no one did, but the crumble company was begging for walmart to get those cookies back but there was no way, all the customers devoured their purchases and when i get called i declined immediately, but walmart did share the proceeds to that company, wow it was a whole big thing!!

I am selfishly thankful for being type one diabetic with hypoglycemic unawareness, for arthritis that wrecks havoc on my stomach, along with several other chronic illnesses. Due to being T1D I wear a continuous glucose monitor, but it still doesn’t catch the lows as quickly as I need to, but depending on the situation I can get out of I get together or leave early due to low blood sugar or stomach issues. It depends on where we are. At my grandmother‘s house we either do water or sweet tea because we’re in Texas. At my uncles house it is water, tea, or some type of alcoholic beverage like a mixed drink or wine.

I don’t have kids, but my mom moved in with me to help me out when I got sick. Let me tell you, I do not have the temperament to have kids because now I’m raising my mom. 😆 My mom is almost 71 and sometimes I feel like I’m reliving high school with the amount of drama she talks to me about. You remember the exasperation of when you ask your kids to do something and they are like, you didn’t tell me that or they whine, or when they ask you for advice on a situation and then proceed to do the opposite of what you suggested. That is my mom in a nut shell. Usually during the winter, she has sewing sleepovers with her best friend and I secretly do a little dance inside cause I will get at least 2 days of quiet. Lol. I love my mom, but my goodness, she’s a lot!
