Yeah. Besides, in many of the episodes where Dipper gives up stuff, he’s pretty often at fault. Like when Dipper wants Mabel to let her pet die so he can win Wendy’s affection, or when he’s reluctant to help Mermando see his family again because if he does he’ll lose his job with Wendy. Heck, even in Mabel’s worst episode, the penultimate one of the series where she wants to stay in her bubble and never grow up, Dipper’s almost as much at fault as she is. (Almost, because the part about her abandoning Dipper and replacing him with Dippy Fresh was going way too far. They could’ve had him almost pushed out without making it Mabel’s decision.) By taking Ford’s apprenticeship opportunity he would be leaving his sister and his childhood behind. Like the show creators say in the podcast, Dipper is always trying to grow up as quick as possible, and you could say the episode where he almost leaves her for Ford is *his* worst episode. They both have the opposite flaws: Dipper tries to grow up too fast, and Mabel wants to stay the same forever. While I do think the people working on the show definitely could’ve illustrated this point better, (and again, that whole “replacing Dipper” thing was going way too far) Mabel is definitely not as bad as people make her out to be. Sorry for writing so much, it just always bugs me when people exaggerate how bad Mabel is and make her out to be a selfish jerk. She is more selfish than Dipper, but she always has good intentions and is still a good person.

Dipper appreciates what Mabel did for him, e.g. saving his life in multiple occasions, like when they got attacked by the gnomes, the zombies, Gideon (twice), Bill (twice), also getting the unicorn hair needed to protect the Mystery Shack, just to name a few. He does not need that selfish mindset of equivalent exchange. What makes you think that? And Mabel appreciates what Dipper did for her as well. She always thanked him (sometimes even multiple times in a row), not only through saying it, but also hugging him and all of that. After being allowed to have Waddles, she even helped Dipper with getting a bit of revenge on Robbie. Mabel is doing what she can. What else do you want her to do? Seriously. Put yourself in Mabel's situation in that episode. Imagine your worst years of school being about to start, not even your best friends being able to come to your birthday party anymore, if you are ever even going to see them again once you part ways, knowing that the teen years in school are going to become worse and worse and worse, and then even the one person you have known your entire life, who was always there for you and who you were also always there for, just leaving you all alone and hated by everyone else forever. Having to realize something like that as a 12-year-old is extremely tough. She did not even cause the apocalypse on purpose. She saw Blendin and thought she could trust him after they could make peace at the end of the Globnar, and he promised her to give her a little more summer, which was all she wanted while she was being an emotional wreck. The contrast between Dipper and Mabel is just supposed to be that Dipper wants to grow up TOO fast while Mabel doesn't. Do YOU want to become an adult with annoying responsibilities as soon as possible? Of course you don't, nobody of us does, because our youth is something special. In all seriousness, what do you want? An entire episode on Mabel being hated by everyone and everything in town because "she needs to pay for what she did"? Tell me. Give me a nice, well-structured idea on a good episode/comic/whatever that will make up for "what Mabel did". I am waiting patiently, and I will be listening carefully.

And if I don't remeber correctly the reason why bill came was because dipper was so tired and exhausted of trying to get the code and had no help from mabel making him more strested because as Wendy stated "when you and mabel are around each other you can do anything." She also knew what would have been best for Dipper, telling him to get some sleep, but Dipper just kept trying and trying, despite there not even having been any sort of time limit, so they could have had all the time they needed. Dipper has brought that to himself, which led to him going over the try limit and his physical and mental exhaustion. Besides, if you are going to be that way with the love interests, Dipper also constantly tried to get Wendy at the carnival, although everyone knows the chances are low, Dipper was just so desperate that he was willing to make Mabel give up Waddles, despite those two having a strong and important connection, which was going to be seen later on, while Dipper and Wendy will always be nothing more than friends. ANOTHER thing she knew about what is best for Dipper is to confess to Wendy about his feelings for her, and she was right. After his conversation with Wendy after the bunker expedition, he did feel better. And besides, I am extremely sure that Dipper would go just as insane as Ford did with all the scientific research they were going to be doing. It would not be a good life for Dipper, despite him thinking that it's his dream. Again, he is trying to mature WAY too fast. And also, Ford would then never make up with Stan again, that would just be depressing. Those two always wanted to go treasure hunting. Again, she was MANIPULATED into starting the apocalypse. She has no idea what that rift even was, and thought that Blendin, who she managed to befriend at the end of the Globnar, would have a much better understanding of it, since Mabel is obviously not the smartest. But people keep saying that it's 300% her fault. It's also her "fault" that she and the other girls got the unicorn hair needed to protect the Shack (and also did one thousand good deeds before that) as well as saving Stan and Ford with Dipper together by distracting Bill, then even having even able to use her grappling hook to save Dipper and herself before Bill could literally turn them into corpses. Those two were only able to beat Bill together, thrice.

Dipper’s the one who always suggests cheating, whether by getting a video game character to fight his battles for him or by bribing a bunch of Lilliputtians to sabotage Pacifica & help Mabel win at mini golf. Dipper summoned a zombie hoard (without knowing there was no way to get rid of zombies) just to prove to a couple of feds that his book was real. Dipper was going to let Bill lobotomize Stan because of some out-of-context memory. Dipper created a bunch of time paradoxes because he couldn’t let Wendy live her own life & make her own choices. Dipper would’ve left Robbie alone & miserable in the cemetery so nothing would interfere with his place in Wendy’s friend group. Dipper would’ve shut off the Portal, leaving Ford forever lost in the Multiverse & absolutely DESTROYING Stan! And not because he believed it was a Doomsday device, but because he was pissed Stan lied about the Journals. But Mabel always gets labeled as “the bad twin.”

It isnt truly her fault She tried to make Dipper stay, and then stupidly gives the rift to possesed blendin to make him stay Just because she loves him, then in mabeland she has a world designed for her, and risks losing it stay With her brother, then she decides to give up on literary heaven to be With mason.... Umm... I mean Dipper and risk her life trying to fight a lord of time and space With zeto hopes, then after Dipper says that he Will stay she even says that she was wrong, which doesnt really make Dipper change his mind, plus along With dont dimension it she has some development by the end, how much development she had in a few episodes, along With how many fans complain about her uniqe personality being totally wasted (including me) season 3 would improved her Overall She is pretty selfish but not truely bad, she Just sees things in her own side and often forgets how others feel, she's my 2nd favourite character on the show (my list: 1.mason Umm.. Dip:my favourite asterism Kidding he is highly emotional and the most intresting smart guy, one of my favourite characters overall Except for Jim (troll form) That is 2.mabel:she's hilarious and one of the most uniqe caracters 3.stan:most developed character, Just love how his greedy criminal character is slowly opened and is revealed to be the tragic and loving hero, but yet still a greedy criminal Just amazing 4:ford hes Just so cool 5.bill:things are gonna get weird 6.mcgucket:hes backstory is amazing 7.rumble: pixlelated video game higly honored martiar artists With ryu powers and many cultular referance??? @@mochatea-fr1cf Except she did. In the episode the deep end. Sure it wasn't kissing, it was CPR, but she also says how he had his first kiss in that same episode. She takes a photo of him and chuckles while saying blackmail. There are different ways people spell their name and I honestly don't really care how her name is spelled.

@@kaceyyoung9687 does she ever do anything about it though? I don't think it was actual blackmail I think she was just messing with him at siblings do. Don't get it twisted, that doesn't mean she's not a jerk, but not necessarily a jerk in that particular instance.
