If you didn't know by now the "new" vocalist is actually Sky, the bassist, really hoping the three start a trio in this style with Sky staying on vocals
yeah…The drummer is now the drummer for Bilmuri…The bassist Sky acord (the one singing in this song) is the touring bassist for Twenty One Pilots…and AJ is now toruing with Bad Wolves
Thinking about how much I LOVED Beautiful Oblivion, it really sucks that we'll never get a follow up. I think they could've topped Beautiful Oblivion easily
A band that hasn't released a song in a long timebut needs to is Oh, Sleeper. They said they were working on an album over a year ago but have been completely silent since then afaik.
@@wess51873 they are an absolutely fantastic band. The album has been in the works for a while so i have high hopes that it will be coming soon. I've loved everything that they've put out so far, but i hope this time they release their true magnum opus and get the respect from the scene that they deserve.
Saw Issues in LA this past Friday and it was an AMAZING show! So sad to see one of my favorite bands ending but I was so glad to see them before the end and honestly I love this song it slapped live too
Kingdom of Giants. The last album was from 2020 and even though they dropped a single about a year ago, it’s probably about time for a new album by them. Edit: I’m also pretty sure that the old clean singer/bassist came back to the band recently so that’s promising.
This may honestly be my song of 2024 and we’ve barely started. I don’t remember the last time I vibed to a song so hard. The drop at “Only we know” is chef’s kiss 🤌🤌🤌
so sad they broke up after such a huge string of come back shows and such a banger of a single. they really could continue with sky and aj on vocals. a man can dream lol. edit: kind of pissed after watching your reaction bc i found myself jamming this song harder than ever before, truly realizing the musical genius of these three boys. when issues first arrived it simply was way too soon. their sound was way too advanced for what metal/rock was at the time. cut to 2024 and they drop a single like THIS? i was still jamming their old shit last year thinking "holy shit i WISH i was that many years ahead mentally when it came to song writing." I think they jumped the gun when it came to deciding the end. Yeah they all have their own respective projects that they're apart of, but just imagine if they released even just a full EP with sky on vocals. maybe even an LP if we're lucky lol. idk man. mix of jealousy for when i was touring and also passionate that they can't see the dope ass bigger picture LMAO TLDR: song slaps, they're geniuses. they need to at least give us an EP w sky on vox
I had hoped to the very end that they would continue with Sky on vocals after his part on Here's to You once Tyler got kicked out after the allegations. But i'm so glad they gave us one last song.
I really appreciate how Sky's style is so unique instead of just poorly mimicking Tyler. It's still sexy and RnB, and yet manages to feel completely different.
I’m cheating it’s two bands but My Enemies & I and Hold Close were two bands that had me hooked when i discovered them. Man would i love if they came back and for anyone who’s interested My Enemies & I - Toxic Hold Close - Absent to Reality Their best work imo ^
They say it's their last song, but bands getting back together after breaking up is actually pretty common in today's world. My Chemical Romance, Attack! Attack!, Yellowcard, Alexisonfire, Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows (D.R.U.G.S.), etc.
Issues doesn’t get nearly enough credit for paving the way for modern metalcore’s sound. This song is really great. Band that needs to make a comeback is Shields
@@Archie-xm6ml k for a second there I was like “is this guy nuts. Their last albums were amazing.”….we also need another Kingdom of Giants album. Been too long.
Could care less that issues is still around, they lost me after their first full album which was their last good one. Just my opinion, I know everyone loves issues most recent work. I just can’t get down with it
I saw them live last year. I had never listened to them before, so I went in blind. They had so many awkward ambient pauses and my friend and I couldn’t tell when a song was done or not. Wasn’t the biggest fan
@@TheMetalMAN1987 there was one time when the vocalist did the “when this hits I want everyone off their feet”. Well it was another ambient noise thing, everyone stopped jumping after they realized nothing was really happening and man I was confused lmao
