Sky and Ty's (AKA Scout, Lophiile) dad here. I heard Sky say in an interview that there's a lot of unfinished Issues stuff that may never see the light of day. Let's hope that it does sometime when folks can get some time to work on it!
Hey! Thanks for commenting here. It was so good to see the boys back together the other night at the Atlanta show. I've heard a few of the unfinished tracks, actually and hope they do something with them, whether they're moulded into new music or given/sold to artists, like myself.
might be a one of a kind band, this is my only fanatic band but 2023-2024 hits me differently and he brings these tears in my eyes. those technicalities, sick riffs are iconic 101/10
I have no words for this song. Lord knows I would've done anything to see them live but this just makes me want them to carry on but at the same time I understand. Issues forever
genuinely my top song of the year already, been with issues from the beginning, love every release they have and all the various side projects of all the members, sky, aj, and josh are absolute musical geniuses who will leave an insanely large issues shaped hole in my heart and the scene, the home team is a superb spiritual successor but all good things must come to an end and let’s do it on a high note!
Going to the show this Friday and I’m so stoked!!! They’re one of my favorite bands but I’ve never gotten to see them so I’m so glad I’m getting the opportunity before they hang it up for good
Banger track, but part of that signature Issues sound is TC’s vocals. It doesn’t quite bring the track fully together without it. Almost scratches that Issues itch I’ve been missing for so long, but not fully 😩 I know, I know, TC did a big no no, but the vocals are part of the issues sound.
sky is a great singer. but i get why they wont continue. i will not forgive tyler for ruining this band. this band has done so much for me. im grateful however to have woe is me back. but fuck tyler. issues forever. ill be at the atl show.
Im gonna go to the one in Anaheim I cant wait! I hope we get King of Amarillo on the setlist which is kind of ironic now that woe is me back and issues is done
Tbh. And issues has been my most played artist for like three years until this year and it was the home team this past year ironically. But the vocals just aren’t there for me and I love some of skylars solo stuff. To me this is a good closing of the chapter bc as a musical unit they are less than whole with out two former singers for different reasons. Love the instrumental as always. Gonna miss these boys.
