so glad you started this!!! a fantastic docuseries and takes you through their formative training years. after watching this you will get to know the girls so much more. will be following with you for this journey. Alphaz!!!
Bruh said Harvey speaks in small 🤣. It's a good series, I don't follow KPOP so not sure if documentaries like this is the norm, but I've never seen anything like this. It's really well put together and shows you a raw side of the business that most will never see. If that Chisa part almost got you, good luck.
LMAO I had no other way to describe it other than just smol 💀 I never bothered watching some of the longer extra content stuff for anyone other than like Red Velvet or Exo, so the documentary format in kpop is also foreign to me. I'm liking it so far though!
Simon Jakops is XG's Producer and XGALX CEO. Simon Jakops was part of South Korean boy group DMTN (Dalmation). XGALX is a Subsidiary of AVEX. AVEX is partnered with YG since they formed YGEX together. AVEX formed a partnership with SM in 2001. XG doesn't have anything to do with YG though, their funding comes from AVEX but they are directly part of XGALX. The former CEO of AVEX caused some problems for XG but XG and XGALX didn't have anything to do with that.
I have not actually seen much if anything about Kepler but I have seen them pop up before. Might warrant me checking them out to see what they are about lol
The start of this documentary is rough. Isn't like Simon knew the best ways to make them improve or how to built the best team. He only had a dream and no experience managing something like that. He came from the Kpop industry, which back in the day was WAY worse than what we see here. Knowing that, he wanted artists that could survive in this industry... We may not agree with all his methods or how rude he was sometimes, but at the end of the day, it worked... They went through this journey together and are like a family now. This what I like about this documentary, they didn't hide anything. Simon got some hate at the start, but if you like the girls, you know how special he is to them and this group.
Oddly enough with me having performed many times before , I totally understood what he was doing. It may seem flat out brutal or rude when looking in at some of his methods. But I think sometimes we need to hear that harshness because especially in that industry it is going to be said by some stranger at some point. I Like that you can tell he truly cares and wants them ALL to succeed but is aware that not every person can actually handle what comes with it at times.
@@TJKReactsss Yea, if you never got involved with something like this or with sports for example, it can seem brutal. Imagine he only focused on skills, dance, singing, rapping or whatever but never exposed them to stress... No way this group wouldn't have survived the backlash they got from Korea at the beginning. Avex's CEO (not SImon), didn't help after he made some weird comments in a interview back then about Korea vs Japan, but whatever, he doesn't reflect the group and it's over now...
@@TJKReactsss it's so true,I didn't really appreciate Simon when I first started getting into the group, but if anything really comes out through the documentary, is how much the guy really cares for these people and is working so hard for them to succeed, its incredible and a huge part of their success
This is actually nice watching XG having their own documentary series. To be really honest with you, I wish LOONA had their documentary too before all the ruckus that happened. Cause that one's also interesting to watch for all its creative processes. But I'm happy that XG is here and is really doing so well and I love their group's dynamics.
Please keep reacting to the DOCUMENTARY SERIES “Xtra Xtra” it’s really amazing and this definitely 💯 got me to go all in as an Alphaz. XG has the determination and dedication as ALL ROUNDERS. This Xpop Group is TOP 🔝 LEVEL Talent and Artistry. This Japanese Global Girl Group has achieved and accomplished so much. I love them and I STREAM THEM daily and I’m an older woman. I see these girls becoming International. Sending you blessing and encouragement. 🙆🏻♀️❤️🔥🐺
I think commenting as a reaction for a docu series is great otherwise it feels empty for such a long running time. Regarding music videos for some people just want to see a general reaction and less commentating. For others they want more. It depends I guess.
