fun fact: The first singer is Jinho, main vocal of pentagon(along w hui) He’s the first idol to participate in Phantom Singer series and he advanced to the final! Crezl won the 3rd place at the competition. They have quite a unique combination of members.. kpop idol(jinho), musical actor(kyuhyung, the HUGE beltor at the end), traditional korean music(gukak) singer(suin, one with the ‘ya me lo se’ part), classically trained baritone(seungmin, basically the guy singing the low notes). Vocal director is likely Jinho (of Pentagon), he has acted coach for many k pop singers. He has a lot of covers on his channel magazine Ho on RU-vid which he recorded himself. And every time we got videos "in progress" it is Jinho who sits at computer. And he has a lot of experience of fitting 9 people in one song. Btw Pentagon's b side The game is one of most unusual songs in k pop like bohemian rhapsody meets k pop song.

The classical singers that were on Phantom Singer were already classically trained or studying classical music.The show isn't about training people to sing.It's taking people who are already singers or can sing from different backgrounds and working on how well they adapt to all genres of music, but also how well they harmonise and work as a team. Those eliminated are usually people who they believe would be better as soloists. The end result of the show is forming a crossover vocal quartet. It's open to classical singers,idols, musical actors and amateurs. Crezl are formed of an idol,a classical singer,a musical actor and then a gugak singer (Traditional Korean Music). They are the most crossover of all the phantom groups because all 4 of them have different musical backgrounds.

They are CREZL formed in Phantom Singer (same as Forestella) which is a program for forming a Quartet from PROFESSIONAL SINGERS (includes classical/ Korean tranditional/ musical industries). CREZL members (from left to right according to the video): Classically trained Bass/Baritone Lee Seung-min, musical actor Lim Kyu-hyung and Vocal from idol group Pentagon Jo Jin-ho, Korean tranditional singer Kim Su-in. During the contest they usually spent A LOT OF time to choose a song. If I don't remember wrong ¡Corre! might be one of the recommentdation from Phantom Singer Music Director Kwon Tae Eun. They had tons of discussion for how to arrange the song but Jin-ho is the only one with a producing background so he was the one who did the directing. As far as I know, most of the competitors in this show are professional singers, or at least they are classically trained, and they DO choose their songs by themselves... this show is the same one as Forestella... they have super talents in it... if you are into Italian songs, there is a song in the same show, " Phantom Singer all star," it's called: Miserere, and was sang by Pavarotti.. chills all the way... oh, also check Cho min gyu new Spanish song: recuerdos de Buenos Aires.. it was released today...

You have actually reacted to a video that included the thrid from the left (Jinho) a few years ago. He is from a group called Pentagon and you reacted to a compilation of their best vocals, video in which specifically Jinho's singing really caught your attention. I would definitely recommend his cover of Gethsemane under his monthly series of covers Magazine Ho and all of Crezl songs on Phantom Singer 4 (this program). Thanks for the video!

I’m so glad you guys reacted to this! I’m Brazilian and started watching the show because of Jinho (the first singer) and because my friend said I would love it, so I was so so surprised they sing a lot in Italian, Spanish, and even Portuguese once 🥹❤️ I now follow CREZL’s schedules here in Korea too! This show is actually to form crossover quartets, so all the contestants are already professional singers! Most of them are musical theatre actors (which are normally trained in classical here in Korea) and opera singers so ALL performances are CRAZY good. CREZL, the group in the video, is the most mixed group that came out of the show. Jinho (kpop), Kyuhyung (musical theatre), Seungmin (opera baritone), Suin (pansori, traditional Korean singing style). They released an album and THE SONGS ARE AMAZING. I recommend reacting to their songs and another performance of the show by another group who sang Fría Como el Viento ❤

Thank you for another great reaction. Would love your reaction to Crezl’s - Faith (Stevie Wonder ft.Ariana Grande). It was one of their songs from the finals in PS 4. Supposedly, they won the highest number of points from the judges for any PS quartet in any of the 4 years.m of PS ( Phantom Singers). They came in at 3rd place but the scores for the groups were really close. All 3 quartets are terrific as are all quartets from PS ‘s 4 years. Forestella is still my fav!!! You have reacted to the K-pop group, Pentagon before. Jinho, tenor, is the first idol to appear on PS, and is also in Crezl. Looking forward to originals from the group. Jinho is also a songwriter/producer. During competition, and very early on , Jinho and Kim Suin were in a trio and performed- Dangerously. They should have won but just too different i think from the normal classival crossover genre.
