I’m not where I want to be yet, but I definitely have gotten a lot more fit since starting transitioning. I walk 5 km five times a week, do core and upper body exercises five times a week, and I switched to a vegan diet five times a week. And yes, it’s definitely helped me look more feminine and less masc. I wear what I like (and can afford). My voice isn’t feminine, but it definitely hits the androgynous zone.

I love the younger/older sister dynamic you two have oh my gosh 😭❤ I can relate to your whole stealthing your hobbies situation. When I went to my college I mostly kept to myself because I was afraid of the social aspect more on account of being an introvert, and wanting to avoid the stereotypical college party scenario since i never saw that as my scene. But whenever I finally get around to the next step of going to university, I plan on being a little more social whenever I can (mostly cuz I have a job now lol) It's hard to get out of a mindset of being there only when you need to, and leaving when you're done.

Very early transition here (honestly still closeted irl despite my boymode being quite fem), but I feel like I would be kinda in-between stealth and not, personally 🤔 like I wouldn't really divulge being trans in day-to-day life or in social situations where I'm not known to be trans (assuming passing), but I would remain active in trans spaces (most notably online), keep contacts with people who knew me pre-transition (and are accepting), be more open about being trans among (especially trans, but maybe some cis) friends and also in relationships etc. And even when not disclosing being trans, as you said, it's important to just be yourself. A lot of my interests are in older video games, technology, also some in genealogy. I don't even really gender my interests. Cis women can have "masculine" interests too!

I like your advice on not focusing on negatives. I know you meant more in terms of past events and happenings but... I'm in this predicament where dysphoria is being bad sometimes. I'm a year into transition, and people are starting to say I pass. My brain is so used to being dysphoric maybe? Also yes. If bad things happen don't focus on them, especially while things are getting better ❤

I wish I could transition in the first place, but I would like to know of an endgame in mind. Honestly, I can only imagine two possibilities for me, maybe I'll do both. Maybe I'll work for my family and friends and for my own retirement funds, then after I retire I could start to get to work on writing and creating huge pieces of media that challenge, treatise, and commentate on a bunch of things I want to talk about.

Ive been transitioning in soem way or another for years now. I am stoll working on voice and waiting for suegery consults, but i figured out recently thay i have been done for years. Socially, psycologically, etc... i figured that stuff out years ago. Voice is only a recent thing and thats mostly for safety instead of for myself. Surgeries are just because hrt didnt do everything i had hoped. Its a weird transition by itself to realize that you are done. Honeslty i just go about my day at this point

I started the journey at age 18 with social transition, still going at age 29. I won't be transitioned until I hit the goal of surgery and also have trained my voice to an ideal point. Probably be 31 or 32 by the time that happens.
