My Bengal was furious when I brought home a little hamster. She gave me a dirty look and marched up stairs. I miss her.

I have a rescue cat who drinks from a communal bowl (two other cats) but will sit in the shower and "yell" until I go in and turn it on for him. A joy

I have my Bengal for almost a year and couldn’t imagine life without her-to those looking for one I promise your life is abt to get ten times more interesting😂

That's nothing !! I had a Siamese that would only drink from the shower faucet. The problem became serious when she figured out how to TURN THE DAMN FAUCET ON !!!

Cat’s are attracted to the sound of water. You can just get a fountain. They love it, they can drink whenever they like and you don’t waste water

I’ve had a bengal cat for 16 years now. I have to say, there is nothing bad about it.

My bengal cat is the opposite of this - let's his tabby sister eat as much of his food as she wants, never knocks things over, and is amazingly affection towards me but afraid of strangers. His only downside is he is a bit rambunctions and likes to play more than my other cat which can annoy her. And he plays fetch as his favorite game!

My best pal Spooky, a Bengal/Siamese, is very needy as well. They seem to crave affection. I noticed Gatstby laps water "tongue up," instead of under. Mine does that too. He used to soak the wall behind his dish. Is that indicative of the breed?

I adopted what was a small Gray Tabby…no and no.. lost all fluffiness and became a sleek silver cat with black round spots…he’s a handful. He takes over the house chews on me and attacks his older Sisters. I said to my fiancé I don’t think this is a Tabby😂 he ate on my mail yesterday….today he got neutered….hopefully he’ll calm down. So I wanted a Bengal cat and my mom wouldn't let me but the long haired tabby I got from the animal shelter at 7 months old (is now 10 months) and he is just as high energy if not more than a Bengal lol. Does every single thing the cat in this video does except he jumps on me or pushes me to get attention instead of biting lol

My cat always drinks from the faucet 😂 she by accident put her head in the water and liked it 😂 she drinks water from her bowl but she prefers the faucet 😂 it’s sort of like a treat for her, she’s a bengal cat 🐈 my cat Always plays with her water bowl and flips both her food bowl and water bowl upside down 😂

We have a bengal who we rescued and only learned he’s a bengal because of your recent video! He does almost all of these things, particularly chewing cardboard. We found a solution for the food. We found a food bowl called SureFeed Microchip Small Dog & Cat Feeder. It’s expensive but worth it. Each cat has their own bowl and they have to stick their neck under an arch to open the bowl (you program the bowl to the chip in their neck, assuming they have one). If your other cat leaves the bengal’s food alone, you could get away with just the bengal having it.

I think these things all cats do. My tabby bites my ankles for attention & our big boy Tabby eats everyone's food even the dog's food.

I mean I have two Bengals and two mixed rescue cats but only my 14 year old jerk of a black cat does all the bad stuff. Teddy was just born to be the handsome little asshole he is. We love him.

My Siamese wouldn't drink water any way except dropping bath tub. No problem. Humans can adapt!!

That didn’t seem too bad. My bengal is like that too but she would be climbing those curtains, not just batting at them. As a kitten my bengal only peed in the sink and shower. They are water cats for sure.

Mine won’t do do ANYTHING if he knows I’m filming him.

Honestly this is not a good Bengal youtube. Majority of your problems are the same for everyone and here are some easy remedies you can try. I have 2 non-Bengals and each one has similar issues. Shower Drinking - fix with a drinking fountain for $20. It's a pain to keep clean but easier and can be left alone for days. Curtains - don't have low ground curtains. Eating Other Cat Food - This could be an indication the current diet is off and needs to be adjusted. I have a cat that binge eats. I have my second cat's food up on a high spot where one can't literally can't get to but the other can. Then I have an automatic feeder that opens up at specific times each day for the binge eater cat. Can't read or type cause of cat - Place a bed or box (cat's choice of material of course) and place it next to you but on a higher surface. Cat's love to be higher but also with you. This gives them both. You may have to move your cat a couple times to this spot but it works real well for one of my cats who is like this.

I have two bengals brother and sister the boy nelson pure evil what ever my other cats have he wants or will steal bully till he gets it but I love him .

Is this your first cat? Those are not Bengal Cat traits, those are just cat traits. How is this suppose to help anyone trying to learn about this breed?

He is good as gold. My Bengal opens all the doors, beats up my other cat, opens the fridge and eats all the food, smashes any glass left on the kitchen work top, pulls the plants out of their pots, puts our shoes in his litter tray and empties the bin into his bed and then sleeps on it. But id still reckon a bengal to everyone. Hes hilarious

It's impossible blr to limit a cat to eat from just a single plate, any cat, not only bengals. 😂 The curtains are njsg an issue with the kittens. 😻 A water fountain will solve the problem of drinking from the sin/bath

N not really surprised your bengal prefers to be with dogs than cats, my impression is Benals are more like dogs than cats which is silly because cats are superior to dogs but the fact they respond much more readily to training, are much more assertive in their play (like dogs are) and they can be walked on a lead illustrates my point.

No. I want a rescue cat that will learn Bengal traits if I each him/her. It will take time and attention but a rescue cat deserves it

That's Your cat you have no idea that they are probably like that because of shouting at them shouting or screaming gives cats anxiety and stress which causes a bad behaviour

Mine HATES other cats. Even kittens. She'll growl and hiss at the sight of one. She loves dogs. Took her to a petstore once, leashed, and she marched righr up to an old Shih Tzu and sniffed his bum. She does this with any dog that will allow her. 😷

I love my Bengal but holy crap I wouldn't recommend one to other people she's destroying my house one day at a time! gtfo of the bathtub Frankie!!

All cats, especially breed cats, do all these things. They are not so sweet as they try to make us believe on those videos on youtube.

i think it may be someone didn't know what they where in for when they got there kitten they need more play time than most other cats to wear there energy down and don't like being left alone for long periods they will be pushy for attention and if you ignore them they will be naughty to get that attention. they are easy to train to do tricks at a young age with the right incentive they will take to clicker training with treats to everyone that is thinking of getting one they will take up more of your time than other laid back breeds. most bangals but not all will play in water they like running water over still water because of there wild cross they see still water as a possibly contaminated water source try a cat fountain for there water source from a young age it may save you money on your water bill they are very smart so they may end up turning on lights and taps ect if there tipping there food bowls over or stealing your other pets food try a flatter dish so it doesn't agitate there whiskers.
