When I was younger, I used to dream of traveling the world and working abroad. But I also wanted to study journalism and work in television. So I started with the latter, and spent more than 10 years working as a TV & radio reporter, presenting the weather, and live hosting for a popular Montreal morning show.
In June 2016, I stumbled on a completely crazy opportunity… and I decided to take the leap.
2 weeks later, I was flying out to Club Med Punta Cana to work as a G.O, first in Guest Relations/Reception, but then transitioning to Community Manager in Turks & Caicos, and eventually expert content creator for the entire North American zone.
I left G.O life in December 2018, and I now freelance as a content creator and digital marketing consultant, while still doing some hosting and narration work on the side. I continue to travel and act like a clown in front of cameras.

Very informative advice. I would recommend Ben to bookmarked the club med hotel instead of bookmark other hotels. I understand how club med crew feels but it's definitely touch to have new friends. I love club med.

Yeah, Leopold. I would love to experience what difference between original hotel and club med resort hotel actually look like. Crew members have to do a lot of hard jobs like accompanied the customers all the time like Having dinner with them, having fun game with them and dancing with them. You will find out they will make you like a family friendship inside there. Indeed that's the most recommendable place for you to try. Top Travel Official presenter Ben is about to thinking of what Club Med is all about but all good inclusive hotels and good place I would look forward to bookmarked for this.

I leave Oct 26th to Sandpiper bay. Just be patient and email your recruiter every other month. Let them know you want it more than anything.

Hi, Jessica. This is Youjin from South Korea. I've been working as a GO in ClubMed for 2 yrs. As u know, It's not good situations due to Covid 19 all of the world these days.. So I'm just back to Korea from Val Thorens village which is from one of the ski village in France. BTW, I watched this video for the first time when I tried to apply GO's job back in time. It was really helpful for me and I'd love to watch your video!! I already pressed the LIKE button before and suddenly I figured u out again. It's been a while! Hi Youjin, I'm glad this video helped you! :) Yes, I am freelancing now, though the situation is a little tricky with Covid. These days, I do consulting work and help people set up and manage their social media accounts so they can market their brands better and increase their sales.

..a job where one work without feeling tired n hardly fall sick yes one do not wish to be sick n rest your body inside the room like a restless zombie..bored to dead..in any other job in the world one must enjoy all to love your work..as for me I am with the sports team..

Don't know what a go is but I just realized I've only been a barback(bartender too but only a little) and a busboy that is also somewhat of a waiter since I take a few orders and talk to clients

epicgamer0007 a GO is the club med employees that come from different countries. It means gracious organizer. Most public facing jobs are G.O. they eat with the guests and perform during the shows as well as do shifts in their field. :)

So I told you I'd keep you up to date. I just got an email for the pre-selection process and am going on September 9th in Montreal. It's for the winter season of 2017-2018. I am really excited and going to mentally prepare myself. I am really nervous and excited!

G.O stands for Gracious Organizer. G.Os work for Club Med as staff members in different department: reception, entertainment, Kitchen, restaurant, sports, fitness, circus, Mini-Club, etc... You need to be a GM first. Then you will know what it's all about. I've been there many times and all the GO's are amazing...except "maybe" during first week(they're all tired staying up to learn dance routines) and last week of the season(burnout and itching for their next assignment). Keep on.
