So, You Want To Make A Fanganronpa? (Episode 1- The Basics) 

Fangans are such hard work... and that's why I procrastinated for three years. Still haven't written the first trial but I'm getting to that point If you can draw, don't. Write the fangan first especially if you get distracted easily. Planning is essential to writing a fanganronpa. I wish I did this earlier because those three years could've become something - but at the same time, if I didn't spend all my time daydreaming instead of writing, I probably wouldn't have come up with the all the deaths, executions, foreshadowings, clues, plot twists, characters, and everything else that I plan on writing. So, I'm actually glad. But uh obviously this isn't the best thing to do so don't follow my footsteps lmao i beg

I'm very glad videos like these are still being made. The fanganronpa community is such a vast and creative group of people and I really want to see each person's idea shine in the best way possible. Video guides like these are a definite step in the right direction. One thing I will say as someone who is writing their own fanganronpa (and has completed one before albeit a poorly made one) is that no matter your medium, FANGANS ARE A HUGE COMMITMENT. There's a lot more work than you might realize. Still if you take a little bite out of it each day and stick to it, I know you can make something you're proud of! Great work, Barbie. Can't wait to see how the rest of the episodes go! :3

I myself am a beginner fangan creator (RPG maker playable, ADR52 - about Rantaro's previous killing game) and I was definitely for at least some part inspired by you, your fangan, and the fact that you managed to actually finish it, so I can't wait for more videos like that

I appreciate you making this since I’ve been wanting to make a Fanganronpa, but I never knew how to start it. This has helped me plan a simple base for the characters, plot, and more essentials to making a Fangan. I’ve slowly been building off of the simple bases and improving them. This has made this whole process SO much easier, thank you!

It always feels nice to me to see our little Instaronpa community get more recognition I'll probably have plenty more specific stuff to say throughout the series, but for now i'll just leave the biggest piece of advice i usually tell people: Be your own biggest fan!! Make your fangan because YOU want to!! Passion is necessary for making these things, and you'll burnout much faster if you don't love what you're doing (also thank you for the PR mention!!)

so i’m writing a fangan where the whole twist is they’re actually students that died 100 years ago in the first killing game but it’s supposed to be in two different connected series with the twist in the second one !! i’m not sure how i’d make the wrap up in the first part not look. um . y'all, if I were to write a fangan as a novel, would you read it?

i used to write my fangans in chunks of story admittedly and i think its good practice even outside of fangans btw. you want to write a fangan but dont wanna slog through the daily life just to get to the trial fsr? just write the trial lmao. but i want to make a little sidenote on written fangans. they are by far not the least work. my favorite fangans took 3 or so years to finish, and they're both written. especially in regards to the fact some dont opt for the script style and go for full detail, it can get.. wordy very very fast. and the fact they'll take so long to write will scare even writers away. so they'll take just as much time as any other fangan to write, i think. "easy" i think is being gentle about it when writing can genuinely take months to move on from one scene to the next if you lose the energy *to* write. edit: even script fangans i think ^ ive only read a few in full novel format, because i notice the more fuller fangans use the script format and even then the amount of time and dedication is a lot, especially if you get burnt out. i don't mention any of that rudely, but as just some commentary from someone who has been working on a purely written fangan for the past two years and only recently figured out which format i want to use lol.

Have you ever watched a Danganronpa Plush or Gacharonpa? If so mine is in both formats Gacharonpa: Pre-existing sounds Short bits of content Low(er) editing needed than most Shorter Danganronpa Plush: Pre-existing characters All charcaters are plushies Sets can be anything around No Need for facial expressions (but characters need more action in their movements sometimes)

As someone who wants to make Fan game. As self claimed creative persone, i started writing a basic story base, i tought it was great untill i got to art. I love drawing but don´t really have a own art style, plus i can´t make digital art since i only know traditional, and even that seems to fall short of a danganronpa level art. Next was Programming, i don´t know anything about Coding, like nothing, and it hurts knowing it won´t be easy to learn and with the type of persone i am, i know i will most likely not learn it. As much as i want to make a fangame, i think i need to to something else with my Project. OR make a smaller project to test my skills with.

the biggest problem for me, is that i take inspiration from anime. I have a fangan concept in mind that im currently working on, but the issue is that i don't want my premise and story to be too similar to a different fangan, which often kills my motivation

hii!! so since this person won’t really mention this form of making a fangan, im just gonna make a short mini series in the comments about it! GACHA RONPA what is a gacharonpa? a gacharonpa is a way to make a fangan by making your characters designs on gacha life, gacha club, or the upcoming gacha life two, and making short videos depicting the story! how easy is this? its more easier then writing it, thats what i can say. these fangans can take up to multiple months, or half a year, depicting on the creators motivation. lets use zemiwemis fangan, Tears of the Past. (i believe its called) this gacharonpa fangan lasted for almost 6 months. and so is their almost done gacharonpa, V3 x V1 talentswap. editing software? usually use the ones that gacha videos usually use. examples (and best) being, alight master (for tweening) and capcut (for normal editing) kinemaster n video star can do you pretty good if u use it correctly. pros n cons? pretty much instaronpas pros and cons! including the one they didn’t know was a pro or con. theres also another type of gacharonpa where its similar to video style fangans except the sprites are gacha characters, but im not gonna go too deep into that. okay my arms are tired, im gonna stop for now. i hope u appreciate this!! :)

Hey! I personally disagree with the notion that written fangans are the least work, while you do not have to worry about the visual aspect. You actually have to write more to describe those scenes without being boring or stale. I don't think its easier, but that the work is more focused on one aspect that the other.

I found this thanks to a friend. I am a beginner Fanganronpa creator and have two Fangans in the works - one fanfiction and one Instagronpa, as both of them are crossovers. This will be very helpful. Also, I have a great suggestion: you should also do an episode that involves crossover Fanganronpas and how to execute them correctly. It would be helpful for those who prefer to write that as I have seen good crossover Fanganronpas such as Danganronpa 69. Can't wait for the next episode.
