This is a recording of 'So you want to teach [out] about climate change?' which took place as part of Bristol Univerisity's Climate Emergency Day of Action.
Drawing on two decades of teacher education experience and the recent student activism on climate, I will look to provoke a debate about what is holding us back in making the secondary geography curriculum experience fit for purpose. What teachers can (and cannot) do now, and what changes need to happen to enable a climate change education which responds to the questions being asked.
