Love your studio and store! Beautiful space and so clean! Impressive! Thanks for showing us. I love the rolling carts and your kitchen aide display, envious. Best success to you! Blessings!
I love how you have everything on rolling platforms and racks. I know some of those ingredients can be really heavy, so that is genius! I'm just in the starting stages of designing my soap studio, which will be built into a camper trailer, so you have given me a bunch of inspiration! Thanks for sharing with us.
I loved wholesale. However so many craft shows I wanted to do require you to make everything. I’ve had great luck with my recipe. I tweeked Jerikas to work for my climate and an oil I changed out and added more water.
Loved pretty much the entire video! I did also like seeing the different types of shelving you are using to organize your ingredient/additives supplies. All of this is very helpful from a beginner soapers perspective. Thank you for making and sharing your videos.🙂
Good space, very good organization of the space, clean and neat space, Bravo! Nice girl, and very beautiful hear, soaps are so cute, I wish you all the best, a lot of space for growing and scaling up, cheers!
Thanks for sharing your studio space! Very nice and spacious. I think I like the organization of all your attachments and tools, scents and colors for soap and bath bomb making the most. I’m struggling with organization right now so you definitely gave me some ideas❤
Thank You for sharing. I am trying to organize my soap shop and looking for ideas. This should be easy to organize everything but I find it a bit overwhelming at times.
Start out with what you think works. I need to do an updated tour already because it doesn’t look like this anymore. You can change as you grow or fit your needs.
Thank you for the tour! I love your store! You are so organized and make such good use of the space the way you have arranged everything; so jealous!! What brand of bath bomb press do you have and would you reccomend it? i am not happy with the one i have currently :(
I use the bath bomb press. I'm uploading a new video and show it. I love it! I never hand pressed when I started. I jumped in the deep end and invested in it. I think it was the one Jerika uses, so I went with that one.
I love your selling space! What do you put on your bakery racks? I see you don’t have many pans, but do have some flat (plastic?) pieces. PS… everything on wheels! You’re my kinda lady! Lol
Yes! When I purchased the bakery racks from a pizza place, they used those. They are called bagel boards. You don’t have to line them. Love them! This space is no longer mine. I ended up going back to a work from home model now. But I’ll still be doing markets and can do sales in the workspace where I live. I never have to leave! Thank you for watching!
Could you please share where did you buy the grey cart wheeled, and if they were stable enough over time to carry the weight of the heavy things on top of it?
I got mine from a Facebook market place purchase. However , most restaurant supply companies will carry them. I think uline has them. Yes! They are very sturdy and can hold a lot of weight!
now that you own a retail space, how do you decide which markets you will go to. I am opening a retail space and would like to transition customers from farmer's market to the retail space
I’ll still do most of my markets this summer to get the word out that I have a shop. However, most of my markets I spread out once a month and do multiple separate through the month. I really don’t know what the transition of shopping at the shop vs markets will be. The shop was mainly for the purpose to have more space. The building I picked happened to have a great space for retail. I have noticed that the more I post or send out emails with coupons ( because I don’t do discounts much) the more orders come through. I’m trying different things this year across the board. I’m sure some depends on your demographics, too.
For the past few years, it was pretty much whatever micas and fragrances I tossed together and what the mood felt like. Now that I’m growing so much, I am streamlining more of my main soaps. I tried so many different scents to see what worked ( how the preformed and how they sold) to narrow down my main selection. As far as recipe, I kept it simple to be more sellable to a larger customer base without having to make with allergies to different ingredients. Every so often, I get someone that can’t use coconut. I get it.
