I was about 15 yrs old when I stepped foot in the palladium and this music was life. It still is. I live in Charlotte NC and I blast it in my car in my house it bring me back to my NYC days and the clubs. In the city that never sleeps. Reppin Bushwick Brooklyn baby
I'm 53 when I hear this memory it takes me back When I was in high school back in Chicago.. don't forget about those basement party dang.. freestyle will never die out
At a young 53 yrs old, (HA) this joint brings it all right back, underground clubs in NYC, hideouts in Brooklyn, wide open on the water clubs in Long Island, we rocked them all, not to mention all the block parties and feasts in Bensonhurst Brooklyn we used for practicing our dance moves! This (one of my all time favorites) and so many other Freestyle Jams was what our life style was, a classic lifestyle that no other generation will EVER experience. What a different and amazing time! Tony Jem.
..yeah I know this stuff still goes hard .some of the hottest baselines ever.. ..the scene was pretty big in chicago too..even though most of the heartthrob artists are from out east.. ..there was a show on tv everyone would run home to watch call b96 can u dance..those the pretty cool.. .there were lots of niteclubs that rocked this prime intender..kabooms..sanctuary.. ..I still love this stuff..it gets me all stoked still ready to throw down.. ..but that's what we called freestyle ..latin heartthrob here..Cynthia, soave, judy torres, coro, nyasia, tiana..all of em hot joints...you know what ..east coast had best music but I hate to say .. the djs in chicago could mix this stuff up ..you know oldskool acid house n stuff..you what..booty or ghetto house was bad as f in the chi around then too..check out dj deeon let me bang and hit it from the back ..classic anthems..there's a bunch... ..nice talkin to you btw I'm 51..so yeah right around then 85-95 was putting it down..its timeless...
49, blasting it in my yard while trimming bushes and just thought...I never thought when I was 16 dancing in the clubs, I'd still freaking love and listen to this song.

As I sat by my window just thinking of you The pain and deception which broke my heart in two But now that I see that your not loving me Oh baby can't see, just what you do to me Crying over you, is all I can do When your loving someone knew, I'm crying over you You led me to believe that all your love was true But now your seeing someone new and I'm crying over you Crying over you, that's why I'm crying over you Crying over you, that's why I'm crying over you Crying over you, that's why I'm crying over you These tears on my pillow are all because of you But now the time has come to find somebody new I'll looking for someone to wipe away the tears Someone to love me when your not here Crying over you, that's why I'm crying over you Crying over you, that's why I'm crying over you Crying over you, that's why I'm crying over you Crying over you, is all I can do When your loving someone knew, I'm crying over you You led me to believe that all your love was true But now your seeing someone new and I'm crying over you I gave you all my love I gave you what was mine But now I realize You weren't worth my time
