@@air03man I kinda wish we got more requests for the fancy stuff that not every other toy reviewer offers... we can do better things than just compare everything, which I think we did in one of the Titanus videos from last summer/fall? I'm not sure what the point is, they're clearly very different. At least with Legacy & SOC there's kinda something important to know here, which is you're buying a $300 item which is actually the same as the one you may already have, or you might think that and buy it for your Legacy collection only to find out it's not compatible despite being the same as before. Minipla looks the same, but is very small. Well documented on this channel already.

Hey, Bruno! I don't know if someone told you already or not, but you can make SoC Titanus move as it should when rolling. Just hold one wheel in place and give the opposite wheel a 180° turn so that they'll alternate their motion. Easy fix. (Though I think they should have got it right from the start.) :)

The Legacy may be more accurate, but the SoC package on the whole (Megazord, Dragonzord, and Titanus) is a much better looking package (especially Daizyujin). Hope all was ok during that storm. Also, Legacy Titanus is sold out pretty much everywhere you can think of. The only way to acquire it is on the aftermarket (which makes it ridiculously expensive). The SoC version is most likely cheaper.

I will not take for granted we had not one high-quality Ultrazord but 2! Wow! We have three if you include the Super Minipla version. These are some incredible MMPR collectibles. Loved this video 🙌 I bought my SOC Titanus before seeing this and I'm still happy with my purchase ☺ btw, I would try to hold down onto one of its wheels while pushing forward so you can have the canons on ultrazord mode can rotate going up and down like it's supposed to instead of them both going at the same time 😉

I think it's important to note that "more show accurate" doesn't always mean "better." I've had a similar conundrum when considering SoC Daltanius.

First of all, really diggin' your shirt! Gets me more hyped for Toy Story 4! ^w^ This was a great video both in reviewing and comparing this version to the Legacy version. I wouldn't have guessed that the SOC version was kinda lacking on quite some points. Though they're both great in their own way, it's good to know that if i wanna get a Titanus, i'd be better off with a Legacy edition. Hope you guys stay safe during all those storms!

Great video guys. My Zord collection is all Bandai. I did get an SoC Megazord purely for poseability and the Triceratops/Mastodon extras. The other SoC's aren't neccessary imo

Hey Bruno! I just got my SOC Titanus and I was able to wiggle in the legacy Dragonzord tail and make it work. Not perfect but it fits. You can also take the middle two screws out of the legacy Dragonzord chest piece and remove the back part of the chest piece allowing it to fit in SOC Titanus. You would need some sticky tack or something to hold it in place but it will work. I was also able to get the SOC gauntlets to work on the legacy megazord. The chest piece on the Megazord is the biggest problem. You can remove the screw and plastic piece on the SOC Titanus chest piece and it helps but not by much.

Nothing we posted at that time was getting viewed. "Bulligerent" is still at like 30K. That kind of video used to get a few million. We lost our momentum during the year-long cross-country move, while at the same time RU-vid's algorithm changed, everyone hated the show, no new toys were coming b/c of the license transition (which meant less people searching for things, which = less views = RU-vid not suggesting us = less views = RU-vid seeing our channel irrelevant = not notifying existing subscribers = downward spiral of DOOM! etc, etc). It wouldn't matter what we posted, nobody was seeing our content. But, that was just a quick look, we wanted to do a fancy thing with that, which never got done b/c we couldn't spend the time on it with the new algorithm, just had to keep posting quick things, constantly. Long story short, that's why we have Patreon now, to try to free ourselves from RU-vid's insanity and get back to making better videos even if they take longer to produce.

Great video! While this is offtopic from what is in the video, it's still power ranger related. Do you have any recommendations on good brackets or ways to display the Legacy weapons? I want to hang them on my wall, but could use some suggestions on any brackets you know of , or methods to use. Ideally I want them displayed vertically, but will to do horizontally if need be. I DEFINITELY wanna grab this ASAP! Since I missed out on Legacy Titanus. Also my Black and Gold Titanus is the exact same way. Both the cannons and front paws move in unison instead of independently like on the show. Also, thanks for telling me S.O.C. Titanus is not compatible with Legacy Megazord and Dragonzord. Would have been a great alternative for me. :(

Here's a question about the incompatibility of the legacy Dragon Zord chest with this Titanus.... I get that it won't fit into that white section. But I see that the white section that it goes into (at least in the US Legacy Titanus) comes off. Does that piece come of the Chogokin version, too? And if so, can that part be swapped around between the two? The reason that I ask is that I missed out on the white legacy Titanus, but I picked up a black and gold one when it was on clearance at TRU before they closed down. If that part is interchangeable, I could just paint/customize that one section and attach it to the Chogokin version, which will allow the Legacy Dragonzord Chest piece to fit.

I think the thunder is telling you to switch over to the Thunderzords if Bandai Japan ever decides to do them, but overall that was a great review Bruno, it makes want to buy both Megazord and Titanus cause I still got Dragonzord.

As someone who lives on a budget, I'm thankful you made this comparison video. My old Titanus got lost during a move years ago, so it'd be nice to have a new one. The SOC is WAY too expensive for my tastes, and for what it is. The same can be said for the Legacy version, but it's nice to know the cheaper one wouldn't be considered an "inferior" version (like say comparing OG Titanus to Legacy Titanus). Then again...that shininess! :O

It is a hard choice... the original has a motor, which I'll always love. And being bigger you can fit nearly any Megazord in it. Then the smallest version of Titanus has a motor too, which is the Super Minipla (which was also more expensive than the original and about the cost of Legacy...??). Legacy was a pretty perfect Titanus. It just doesn't get much better than that... unless they motorized it for me. The original Bandai America version was going to be larger and have a motor (and maybe sound too..?) but the cost would have been crazy. But, the one we got was still great. Then there's SOC... which is essentially Legacy Titanus, just gotta decide how you like your gold, and which Zords you'd be combining with it. But, Titanus is pretty expensive no matter which version. :-/ SOC just looks much more affordable after seeing what Legacy has been selling for.

@@MMPRtoys That's the other deciding factor. I still have the original Megazord and Dragonzord. It makes sense to go with a Titanus I can afford and allows the Megazords to fit inside nicely. The SOC version, based on the weight alone, seems to be worth the price if my zords can fit too. Although, I've got the other Legacy zords outside if season 1. Do you think it'd benefit more to get the legacy season 1 zords, with that Titanus, in that case?

such an up charge for just having the SOC name and some extra die cast. Good thing I got my Legacy Titanus for just under $100 during some Christmas deal thingie. The only thing I like about the SoC is the connection piece to keep Megazord from leaning foward. I'm sure I said that in the previous episode so apologies for repeating myself.

If you can get it now, grab it. It was $600+ for a while. Then they released it again, likely to help sell Dragonzord & Titanus (b/c many people would probably skip them w/o being able to get Megazord). These'll probably go back through the roof again once they sell out.

As much as the SoC version is a lot more shinier with all that bright gold, silver and Die-Cast Metal, I'm pretty much happier with my Legacy version with the 2010 MMPR Mighty Megazord. Now Minipla, that's something I'm starting to get into.

I also found out that it's best to remove the Triceratops horns when putting the SOC Megazord inside the Titanus. That you can avoid scraping the tips off the Triceratops horns.

I still need a season 1 megazord, never got the legacy version i only have the throwback black and gold version. I have legacy Dragon zord and legacy black and gold titanus(couldnt find a regular) I also need to get falcon zord and thunder zord and I'll be happy. I know they are out there but I'm a disabled veteran so im balling on a budget lol

What I think people don’t understand is that is that SOC(Soul of CHOGOKIN) are either recreations of classic chogokin toys like Voltron or Bazinger Z, or(in Mmpr and Zyuranger’s case) recreating the original toy as a chogokin. By adding metal and chrome and compact parts. They are obviously trying to make them as screen accurate as possible but they are also trying to keep the function and chogokin esthetic first. The problem is that Bandai America already tried to make chogokin like collectors items with their legacy line, but there were so many problems with the Megazord that it was worth it to completely redo it, and with SOC Dragonzord the combinations still work. Titanus was already done justice with legacy so their was no reason to make a new mold, so they added more chrome and metal and new ports.
