Oh, I remember way back in the early sixties when Lake Elsinore was just one big HUGE dirt patch, the water having been diverted elsewhere. Somewhere, someone decided to "rewater" the lake. They opened up Railroad Canyon Dam one Saturday and it became one of the big events ever for Elsinore. We packed up a picnic lunch from our house in Corona and headed down to the banks of the San Jacinto to watch the water arrive. About mid-afternoon, a little trickle was seen finding it's way down the watercourse. By the time we left, it was a pretty good stream headed for the lake bed.
They forgot to mention the tweakers that roam that exact area. Most of the hang out across the street at the gas station. I’m so glad that they are cleaning up the place but curious how they can help the drug problems.
Lake elsinore is NOT a great way to escape the heat 😂 for the past like 5 and a half months it's been high 90's low 100's here. If we're really lucky it's 85 degrees, but that a cool day
I'd say Lake Elsinore has actually gotten worse with all the development going on. These streets way too small for all the people moving in, and it's bringing a lot more drug users.
I stay in Elsinore it's cleaned compared to when I was younger the lake is still dirty ASF and they still have tweakers but it's booming right now just need to clean the lake and send the rest of the undesirables to hemet😂
Lake Elsinore is the ass crack of the world. Don't you dare compare LA and Orange County to Lake Elsinore okay? Perris is more clean and more in order than Lake Elsinore!
