Thank you so much I am 13 and thanks to you I have turned in to the best soccer player on my school soccer team atleast thats what my coach said I was a sucky player but I have improved at soccer and its all because of you and your tutorials.
Great video tutorial man! I've played soccer my whole life but never really learned great shooting techniques. My technique was so bad that I always seemed to hurt my knee or my ankle when I strike the ball with power. More often than not I just hit grass and hurt myself. Even when I hit a great shot, there didn't seem to have enough power behind it. Last night I watched the video, and this morning I put what I learned to practice and it made a huge difference. I was hitting the ball so sweetly that it was hissing and was swerving all over the place.
I was practicing this technique in a field near my house and I got depressed because I thought my shots where not powerful enough... it turns out that I was shooting about 40 meters away from goal... so yeah... anyway thanks for this it really helped!
that video realy realy realy helped me. im 14 and i had the problem that i stike the ball high and this was because of my body position,after watchig this video i can strike the ball lower. thanks josh, prbably the best tutorial on youtube, the other channels are showing just where to shot the ball and the boot contact area
Wow this really helped me.I had a match to day and I'm not very good at striking the ball but once I watched this vid i can strike the ball well.All I need to improve on is accuracy

it's really important to ensure you stay balanced through all aspects of the motion. if you're not balanced over the ball correctly, or not balanced as you approach the ball, then you're not going to transfer the power from your run into your shooting leg and through your foot and into the ball. simple balancing exercises through your plant foot can really help ensure that you balance and get your weight through the ball as you strike
Thanks josh, i used to think that was stupid and always used my sweet spot for a power shot. This helped me be a better shooter overall as a defender shooting out of the box.

Josh first of all I think your soccer skills videos are a great idea and help for everyone. I would like to ask a soccer skill video for improving Ball Control for long passes and lobs. Keep it up Josh!
its all in the motion about the run up and technique, if you noticed.. in slow motion as your running up to the ball, your leg takes one big stride towards the ball and you plant your foot, and your other leg is already in the right position for the follow through all you need to do is lock your ankle and you got the right shooting technique
It's weird because I find I can shoot much better with my adidas f10 messi boots as opposed to my hypervenoms, but interestingly enough I can't shoot at all with my mercurial vapour's but I find hypervenoms best for comfort.. do you really think it makes a difference or is it all mental?
Great video, Josh! Love the slow-mo shots. Very helpful. You should eventually do a tutorial on striking with the outside of the foot with and without curve.
Dipping free kicks, and just the general stuff like curling and wobbling the ball in the air would be great. I know it's something that I just can't get right

Hey Josh can you make a video on how to strike the ball when its moving, like in a game i shoot and it comes out HORRIBLE because its hard to hit a moving ball for me
