Soccer Mommy is the indie bedroom pop project of Sophie Allison. On bandcamp she refers to her music as "chill but kinda sad" which is an apt but reductive version of the personal, mournful collection of tunes Allison has been putting online since 2015. Allison has pushed back on the "sad girl" descriptor in the past year, directing listeners to 2017's Collection to highlight the progression from mopey lo-fi stories into the exciting full band project she now fronts. My friend recommended this song to me and I absolutely love it. I obviously know this song is talking about the recreational use of the drug, but when I was a lot younger (around 7) I had taken two benadryl for extremely bad asthma. And I just remember sitting in my grandparents backyard looking at the trees on all their land during the summer in such a daze Haha

You can knock out with a normal dose of like 50mg and still get strange dreams.

I suffer from Eczema so I have to take Benadryl (My doctor prescribed it since I couldn't sleep), and I notice how my dreams are so vivid and weird at the same time. So I typed in "Benadryl Dreams" on youtube and I accidentally discovered this song lmao. AND I LOVE IT.

I took benadryl last night and had the weirdest dreams. I googled benadryl dreams and this song was the first thing that popped up.

@Reb Di Angelo I am thinking it effected me so much at a lower dose because I'm a short and small weighted adult. I also dream heavily without drugs.

i’ve been messing with dph for almost a year now (first tried it march 11th) i’m heavily addicted. i’ve been in the hospital twice and gone to rehab but it didn’t work. i’ve accepted the fact that it will eventually kill me
