when I was in 7th grade I got my period at school and i didn't have a pad. I told a friend from 8th grade and she literally went in her class and shouted 'WHO HAS A PAD?' and a lot of people, both boys and girls, started searching. No guy made a face or said anything bad about it.

It dosent matter whether you know the girl or not. Whether you like each other or not. If she needs a pad, you're getting her one. That's just girl code

I remember when I went to the restroom and I had my backpack with me. Then there was this girl who groaned in the stall and asked "Does anyone have a pad?" Then I go "Merry Christmas" and slide the pad under. She busted out laughing and goes "Noooooo! I can't laugh!"

I’m honestly that girl that carries like 5 toiletry bags that has different types of pads, barely there to overnight pads, pads with or without wings, and different brands. We girls need to cover each other

there was this girl i didn’t know a lot in my school and i’ve never really talked to her before but in the bathroom she shouted out has anyone got a pad, and i immediately said yes which ones do you prefer and gave her one. if i was in that situation i’d want someone to do the same for me, it’s common courtesy, it’s girl code, you do it no matter what.

This year, at my university my period started and i had a really busy day ahead of me. I needed to get to an appointment in 20 minutes so I didn't have time to go back to my dorm so I went to a student center where a lot of people traffic and asked if anyone had pain killers and pads. None of the girls did but i decided to ask an older lady and she said she had just run out of pain killers. She went out of her way to take me to the school store and buy me pain killers and pads. Sweetest things ever and really saved me from public embarrassment of a red stain in my jeans lol

In 8th grade I carried a few different pads and tampons so girls knew to come to me if they needed one and they had a choice

The girl code applies to pain relief meds as well. I’ve given out so many of those it’s not even funny.

One time, a girl at school asked me if I had a pad to give to her but I didn’t have any on me at the moment and our backpack have to be in our downstairs lockers (which was 4 floors down), but I ran down to get the one in my backpack and hurried back upstairs because it had happened to me before and I know how that feels. When a girl needs a pad, it doesn’t matter anymore whether she was a friend or a stranger, you just give.

제가 여고 다녔을 당시에는 아예 저희반 안에 생리대를 담아놓는 사물함칸이 있었어요! 저를 포함한 같은 반 친구들이 그날이 올때면 각자 생리대 중형, 대형 여분을 하나씩 들고 와서 생리대 사물함 속에 넣어 채워두곤 했어요! 이렇게 하면 갑자기 그날이 찾아온 친구라던가, 학교에 오래 남아있어야 하는 친구들이 걱정없이 하루를 보낼 수 있더라구용. 같은 반 친구 모두가 생리대 사물함 칸의 혜택을 받아서 단 한 명의 불만도 없이 고3을 보낼 수 있었어요 ㅎㅎ 굳이 반 친구들 모두와 친하게 지내려고 하지 않더라도 내가 넣어둔 생리대가 누군가에겐 큰 도움이 되다보니 모두에게 고마운 마음이 들면서 얼굴 붉히는 일 없이 자연스레 반 분위기도 좋아지더라구용! 저는 고1,2 시절에 항상 생리대 사물함 칸 아이디어를 생각하곤 했는데 그땐 담임선생님이 두분 다 남자분이셔서 말씀드리기가 조금 곤란했어요! 더군다나 반 친구들 모두의 동의를 얻는다는게 쉽지는 않을 것 같아서 용기를 못냈어요ㅜㅜ. 그런데 고3이 되어 여자분이신 담임선생님을 뵙게되고 반의 회장을 맡게 되다보니 친구들의 동의를 얻고, 선생님께 아이디어를 말씀드리기가 참 편하더라구요! 모두의 동의 속에 이 아이디어를 진행하게 되었어요! + 담임선생님이 남자분이시더라도 괜찮으신 분들이나 담임선생님이 여자분이신 학생분들은 꼭 이 방법 써보셨으면 좋겠어요! 소중한 학생시절, 청결도 챙기고 우정도 챙기세요❤️☺️

in my class it's normal to ask for pads and when they don't have one they'll voluntarily help you ask other classes or buy you one. even my male friends would ask other students /buy one from the canteen

It's a long story One of my friend in 8th grade got periods and one of the boy (aka our class monitor) said "Boys keep your head down until Ella (aka vice monitor ) says " And as he says everyone looked down and didn't peek even a bit N then me and 2 of my friends covered her with our body and Leslie (one of the richest and meanest girl in the class ) came up and gave her handkerchief to cover her skirt and our vice mont. Went to our Vice principle (she is a famale) and told her about the situation and she immediately came with pads in her hand

Just a few days ago I was in a Korean bathroom and I washed my hands but there was no paper to dry it. I asked a Korean girl next to me if she has a tissue (to dry my hands but I forgot that important detail). She looked in her bag, apologized and ran away and I was pretty confused and surprised. After a few seconds she came back and gave me a sanitary pad and said "I'm sorry, I didn't have one but my friend outside had one". That was so sweet that I couldn't tell her that that's not what I asked for and I just thanked her so many times and acted like I was Going to the bathroom a hahaha

this makes me happy and remember that the world is still filled with kindness

sanitary pads is that one thing that women always help each other with. it is a basic girl code and wherever you are in the world, whenever you ask, other females will be sure to help. that's a beautiful thing and i'm proud of it

This is sweet. I actually did this recently. I was traveling home. I was waiting in line for the bathroom. It was taking an unusual amount of time. Her mom was apologizing to me about the wait and I was like “it’s fine” nether of them spoke English. When the girl got out of the bathroom she looked to be in pain. There was blood on her hand. I grabbed her arm and was like “do you need something?” The girl nodded and so I rushed to my car. I had a whole box and I gave it to the girl. The girl was no older than 12, first period and it was on her vacation. Her mom was adamant about buying me something from the gas station no matter how much I said I was fine and it was me just helping a fellow girl. Girl code is helping other girls
