My deniel letter said not severe enough even my medical records gos back 3 years ago and I applied after 17 month from being disable Se I met the 12 month rules !! They did not say I did not meet the 12 month All it say not severe enough and medical records show altho you fell discomfort but you still can move your hand and feet So in my reconsedration my Dr did for me RFC with all imbairment I have I hope this will work Still waiting for my reconsedration

Been an operating engineer all of life; can not move dominant hand & arm above waist. Age is 61; denied. Has no other transferrable skills, no computer skills, unable to eat without assist of left hand, or do anything without assist of non-dominant arm. But yet, denied. High pain level; and dropped from insurance to see medical care since last year now; applied 2020- late. - initial Rep, denied on a telephone hearing.. Appealing denial, Don’t know when that hearing will be? Now what?

I am at 90 percent. I am also wondering how much longer I have to wait for a decision. I have a letter from my employer that I can't do my job any longer due to my medical concerns.

My concern is this… if I apply and they say I have transferable skills.. I’m then not disabled.. I have a desk job, I’m 56, I can no longer “sit” or stand for very long (an hour) I take opioids and muscle relaxers in order to work now. Since I have “transferrable skills” I’m not considered disabled. I can type and use a calculator.. I’ve had 2 back surgeries, Covid sent my job home so I’ve been working from home for 2 years now- I use my recliner and lay in bed sometimes to work. But I have transferrable skills. I am almost to the point of not being able to do my job at all anymore.. but I have transferrable skills. I have a high school diploma and “Some” college but can’t pass math.. I’m a “c” student. (Haven’t taken classes for 10+ years) I’ve had the same type job for 32 years … do I just say forget it and take pills to work? I’m soooo tired…

representative started a final review to make sure that you still meet the non-medical requirements for Disability Benefits. What does this mean? I'm on final step after dds made a complete medical review it says online

So what if you are not working and have been on short term disability for 6 mos. Your employer has been sending you checks. 1 for NYS disability and another check listed as employers supplemental disability insurance. ??? How does that work? You are not working but you are receiving income? If calculated by gross weekly =$469/week plus $170/week nys disability. Would that put you over the allows $1310/mth ? Is that considered income? Even though you are not able to work and have not worked any hours?

My case is at 80percent complete how 🤔much longer do think it will take for a decision???????
